Entry: krabi day 1 - securing the parameter Sunday
we reached Ao Nang, Krabi at about 2+pm, checked into the hotel, unpacked and off we went searching for food. it was like adjusting my tastebuds back to the similar kinda food which we had back at phuket a couple of months ago ---> lots of pad thais, cheap thai pancakes & beer. i likey
krabi has many different towns. but through thorough research done by yours truly (ahem), Ao Nang is definitely the best place to stay, party and shop. do not even bother staying at Krabi Town, coz it's just right smack in the middle of the city with absolutely not a single beach in sight. the other towns are like Koh Railay (don't bother too, coz it's just a very quiet island unless you wanna do rock climbing), Koh Lanta (need a boat ride to get there, boring as well), Koh Phi Phi (highly recommended coz we been there the last time, lovely lovely place!), and etc.

waiting for my pad thai in bali - it's bintang in thailand - it's chang
i was hungry la ok
our must-have fix. thai pancakes. i remembered we walloped quite a number of these the last time at phuket/phiphi.

yummy!
: i love taking pics of colorful stuff :
ok, this dog caught my attention it was laying outside a manipedi salon and it has its nails all pedicured!
they even did up his eyebrows!
animal cruelty
it was raining all of a sudden and the bf and i had to run under the rain and look for shelter. ended up sitting infront of a closed shop and i spotted these gorgeous colorful balloons above this pink Hello Kitty scooter!
waiting for the rain to stop. clearly, mr tay wasn't too pleased having this pic taken
dinner at the hotel
we asked the locals where are the good clubs and were directed to Luna Bar
our door drink
ok, i am putting up 3 videos which we took. this was the closest view and the most spectacular view we had ever gotten, watching fireworks get blasted just a couple of metres from us. the fireworks were all set on the beach and by 11++, they were blasting fireworks non stop!
everything was on freestyle mode, with no one creating stupid barricades and asking you to stand behind the line that kinda bullshit. if you get hit by the fireworks, you get hit by them. i love freestyle
i love the 2nd blast! a gorgeous blue-ish eruption of sparklers. there were a total of more than 8 blasts, i think. all blasted directly above us :)
at the middle part towards the end of the video, you can see how crazy everyone went with their free handheld sparklers!
this is nice :) lanterns of hope and wishes released into the skies towards the later part of the nite, the skies were filled with hundreds of these lanterns! simply gorgeous
firedancers!
my pics on the first day of my every trip are usually boring pics for day 2 - 5 coming up!
this was taken on day 4. by then, my nose was already red and shiny from too much sun. mr tay has been calling me Rudolph on day 2 and by day 3 i was known as Shiny.
he'd go, "Hi Shiny! pass me the remote. Hi Shiny! good night!"
