Entry: Found Tuesday



Things are picking up nicely now.
I now have a little place to call my own.
And it is exactly 3 floors below Mr Tay's.

Girl: Hey, in a couple of months time, we're gonna be neighbours! Aren't you excited!
Boy: Oh. Joy.
Girl: I can, "Ding-dong, ding-dong, can I borrow some sugar please?"
Boy: Oh. Yay.
Girl: Oh oh, I can also, "Ding-dong, ding-dong, there're monsters underneath my bed. I sleep here tonight."

ha ha ha!

So many things to buy!
So many furnitures to look at. I hear IKEA. 
IKEA ---> church choir goes "Saleeeeeeeee"

Don't know what I'm harping on, refer to radio ad on the Ikea Sale.

Sofa set, tv cabinet, that huge-ass refrigerator.
Do up the kitchen a bit. I've been wanting to have stoves like this!

I love white kitchens

Mr Tay said I should be more practical in my decisions.
If I am not going to be cooking much at home, then kitchen renovation can wait.
Ok, so, my clothes, shoes and bags cannot wait.

So first on the priority list now is:
A Built-in Wardrobe.

My head says a built-in
but my heart wants a walk-in.
Oh woe.

I too am looking for a place and I think I have found it. I mean, WE have found it. Just really waiting now to go ahead with the paperwork.

It's totally new, i.e. no lights, no fans, all the cables jutting out, kitchen totally raw with only an aluminium sink. I am employing an ID to help me with the reno and deco.

I totally love walk in but with condo, you cannot afford that when you need the rooms for the kids. So I would have to settle for built in. But the kitchen, ooooh.. you gave me an idea on the hobs, yes, the induction one looks cool. I never thought of it! And I love white kitchens too! But you reckon it will be hard to clean? Since I have kids, I would have to learn to use the kitchen more effectively than what I am doing now (since I have a maid now but won't when I move into the condo).

I too will be going to Ikea very often once everything is settled. Maybe we would bump into each other there!! ;)

So exciting don't you think??? If only our bank account is bottomless hor??
