Sunday
So, I was feeling bored and decided to tweak my blog layout a bit. Something went terribly wrong but I'm not quite sure what it was.
Hence, this layout will serve as my temporary layout till I create a better one. I'm not gonna mess with it any longer for tonite. I need to wash off the face mask which has been sitting and hardening on my face for the past 1 hour. Not funny.
Friday
That's 5 fluffs for today. Miss I is chasing me to leave for lunch, before we head home, get dolled up and be at Sime at 4pm for the event setup. Is it Saturday, already?
Thursday
So, today I am totally inspired by Miss T to start eating lesser and healthier.
i.e -
I guess the turning point to this was when I realised I am actually starting to develop cellulites just below the ass. Yes, I do know that the skinniest girl or celeb (in this case, Fergie - Click here) also suffers from the cursed C. It just goes to show that cellulites are fair. They do not discriminate. They just appear unannounced and destroy our self-esteem at the beach. So, me and my bikini. We do not go to the beach these days. We do not even dare appear together at the residence pool below. We, are going through some pretty hard times together. If you think I'm fat, wait till you see the bf. Which, by the way, is pregnant now. So pregnant that he has resorted to consult Google on "How to flatten tummy", to help rid off the 'baby'. He is very clever, I kid you not. He seems to think a flat tummy is achievable by using this roller mechanism (which he has) where you roll forward and backwards daily. Hate to break it to you again baby, it ain't gonna work. Layers of tummy fat just ain't gonna melt away with that machine. Cardio, baby, CARDIO. Told him to go run with me outside. No, he says. Great. Though I have to give him credit for trying to swim more and hit the futsal pitch weekly with the boys. And seriously, he ain't fat at all. He's just carrying a 5 month old 'baby' inside. So I came to a conclusion that, unless you are blessed with a high metabolisme rate (though, eventually will decline as you age), you are pretty much fcuked if: Calories input > Calories output. A pretty easy concept to adopt, this 'Input < Output' rule. Question is, how disciplined are you to actually follow this. Well, I'd give 100 points to Miss T, who, ordered a curry chicken noodle, ate all the chicken and left the noodle untouched and "Oh, I had half a steamed fish for dinner last night." Amazing willpower. Impossible for me. We will get there. We hope. Me and bikini sans cellulite will make our appearance once again by the residence poolside, with a good book, sunblock and a Pina Colada. I, hereby, announce a full-fledged war against The Cursed C. Even if it means I have to ground coffee beans and rub them on the ass.
Tuesday
Last night, I completed my very first RFP. So happy. The team and I stayed up till 2.30am and the RFP was at a 98% stage of completion. The RFP submission date is today by 4pm at X Bank (sorry, can't reveal yet) and projected budget for this project is a sweet 9 million. Am surprised that eye-bee-m did not participate (or rather, wasn't invited to tender?) since Oracle and Accenture are going in as well. Amongst others.
Chew Soon kept us entertained by playing DJ, blasting songs from the past. We were happily singing to Casablanca, Imagine, Can't Take My Eyes of You, etc. slowly building it up to Norah's Come Away With Me and ended the night with Seal's High. We were high by then, this I was sure. They adjourned to mamak after that while I headed straight back home. Food vs Sleep. It's certainly is a no brainer guess. Slept at 3am and woke up by 7am. Took a quick shower and flew to office. I had nothing for dinner last night so, feeling peckish, I was planning to tapau a packet of nasi lemak but the makcik's stall was no where in sight :( Scouted around and bought mee hoon goreng + sambal + egg + sotong. Didn't take much, costed only RM2.50. Now, sipping hot milo. Mmmmm... I'm still printing some docs to be included. We are nearing 100% of completion. Didn't have time to wash my hair, thus hair was tied up today. Going over to X Bank with my boss later to hand over the RFP. Am still feeling upbeat, thanks to BEP's Let's Get It Started this morning :)
Friday
so excited!
the tech boys at 6th floor of my company installed the full cracked version of Garmin for my phone! i will never be lost in KL anymore. mu-ha-ha-ha. and and and they completely erased/flashed/reformatted my phone to a much newer version with enhanced camera capabilities (with backup of course), my phone now has a SECONDARY CAMERA! means to also say, the vainpot in me can rejoice because it's like a mirror. you can take pics of yourself by looking at the phone screen. no more trying to guess whether your face is fitted right in the frame. i can just look at my phone, adjust my hair, whatever and snap away. how cool! i literally squealed just now and the boys had to calm me down and they also gave me this darn cool site where i can download every single phone theme there is under the sun. i already have eyes for the abstract swirly theme. yay. also, every single application can be found there. this shall keep me busy till 5.30pm
