today we had lunch at Ajisen - old wing, near tgv, same row as secret recipe.
ajisen is somewhat new in One Utama and is fast becoming a favorite spot among the ibmers. all the occupied tables today, were seated with ibmers and it seriously looked as if it's an ibm canteen. hehe!
: ajisen ramen :

: sue ordered this last time :

today, she ordered, the gyoza ramen soup. me - fish ramen soup deva - i can't remember but it's with some chicken meatballs
no pics because my phone camera sucks the next time i'm there, i'm going to try their hot plate ramen!
for full menu and more info, visit http://www.ajisen.com.sg/ so many outlets in singapore, it is practically all over the island.

psst bi, i found out there's even 1 outlet in batu pahat, next to old town kopitiam. this weekend, when you're back there, give it a try ya? love you!
: at watsons after lunch :
sue wanted to get a lippie, while i was browsing around and saw this cutie
 harro! i'm a toothbrush holder! i cost RM9.90.
: me with Lolly Funk :

: me on top mommy's plastic jug :
 yay, i'm so cute!
guess where this little yellow ducky is going to be placed at?
answer: MR DAVID TAY'S SO-CALLED 'MALE' TOILET HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
i'm so evil. his 'male' toilet now has:
- a PINK hand towel - girly bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner - a bottle of face mask - hair and face treatment stuff - a pink shower cap - a pink toothbrush - a little blue tub (i was holding tight to the pink tub at tesco, looked up and saw him glaring down menacingly at me with a look that says, "DON'T YOU DARE!")
so now, his 'male' toilet is going to have a yellow duck
slowly la. i'm aiming for the pink toilet seat next.
slowly... but surely
*
boss is getting increasingly loud with his telecon call. ok, have to turn up the volume of JT's Sexyback.
hehe! bringing sexy back to mr tay's toilet

tun, the mischevious eye-winking cranky patient
it is extremely heart-warming to be following the progress of Tun Mahathir in IJN.
every morning for the past couple of months, i click on http://rantingsbymm.blogspot.com to read with delight on marina's updates on her beloved father.
- all mosques in perlis have pledged to pray for tun at every prayer time.
- kubang pasu has shipped over a shipment of homemade dadeh - one of tun's favorite food
- little kids creating cards with words that are so touching you could cry.
*
most of all, i never knew tun was that mischevious, grouchy and cranky!
So I asked him if he'd like some and he said yes. And what's more he wanted some hot Milo. So off the nurses scurried to find the dadeh and make the Milo. Perhaps they took a tad too long because we got a growl, "Where IS that Milo?" Erp! Coming, coming!
He finished the entire glass of Milo and then the entire cup of dadeh, all fed by spoon by me. When he swallowed the last bit, we all - Mum, my brother, the doctors and nurses - actually clapped! You should have seen the look on Dad's face! There was that old "I'll show you!" look, you know?
And just yesterday, he banned doctors from standing around watching him eat. "I want to eat in private," he growled. However according to marina, Such bossiness however is considered a sign that things are almost back to normal. Woo hoo!!
i'm extremely tickled! :)

reached kl around 2pm.
and i am STILL having diarrhoea!!! mr tay is having it as well plans to go on makan spree around ipoh and visit kellie's castle went down the drain. instead, the girl who won't stop shitting spent the whole saturday locked inside room 531, watching malay dramas and chef wan traipsing around kampung baru for kuih-muih, bubur lambuk, ayam percik, and nasi dagang.
the wedding was pretty ok. bride wore this really nice off-shoulder gown, and then changed into a green gown and subsequently followed by a pink gown. couldn't eat much. dish #5 was a WHOLE SUCKLING PIG.

piglet ok. plus the HEAD, EARS, NOSE, and MOUTH intact. ewwwww.
i cannot tahan seeing food with the whole head intact (fish is an exception, i grew up with it) plus, they burn the whole baby pig. seriously hope it was dead before being shoved into hellhole.
the MC was quite crappy la, talked too much. there was one thing he mentioned that was utter crap, which made me sent a quick glance at mr tay, and he immediately smiled and knew what was i thinking.
"pls remember, marriage is NOT about two people. instead, marriage is about two families being married together."
bollocks.
i marry the man i love, i do not marry his family. i marry INTO his family.
and then, he went on for like 20 min (ok i exaggerated but it felt like 20 min) on thanking the guests who came outside of ipoh.
 with the bridegroom, gary lee
ok, just had dinner as i typed this. mr tay and i tapao-ed KFC. i took the usual 2 piece set but only managed to eat 1 piece. the other piece had to be thrown away since mr tay already had 3 pieces.
+:+:+:+:+
it's back to work tomorrow, i'm sooooooooo happy, it shows.

* pink shoe is 20 days away from aeroplane *
can't wait.

i have been firing liquids since yesterday. and my tummy is making funny noises like there's something swimming inside you know.
and it's all because of the satay ayam and otak-otak i had on wednesday evening for dinner. these culprits were purchased from this makcik at a pasar ramadan in damansara perdana.
ewww. so not having satay or otak-otak for 1 year now.
this unfortunate incident has caused me to:
- not shower the whole of yesterday (eh, diarrhoea plus fever ok, how to bathe?) :P
- have zero appetite (which has also inadvertently caused me to boast to mr tay this morning, "bi, i thin already!")
- have a flat stomach (not complaining!)
- work from home, which is quite glorious la, i must admit
- which ultimately resulted in me missing team lunch at Delicious, One Utama today! *grrr*
- befriended Minyak Angin Cap Kapak
it's 3.03pm now.
yawn.
i haven't even packed yet. mr tay and i are going on a road trip today to ipoh to attend his very good friend's wedding. the wedding that caused us an extra of RM800 flight changes for our bali trip :P
i dunno what i'm going to wear for the wedding dinner yet. hmmmmm.
i hope the hotel we're staying in provides a clothes iron upon request. and i certainly hope my appetite will return tomorrow evening because, even as i visualize sharks fin soup now, i will puke.
and pls la, it's IPOH we're talking about...
kai si hor fun, steamed chicken with fat bean sprouts, J mentioned satay babi at kong heng (ewwww, NO SATAY!), white coffee, dim sum, and CKT.
let's just hope my tummy will resume its normal self and stop turning everything that goes in within 5 min... into shit.
quite excited la about the road trip! i love road trips, if you don't know already. but Sue warned that, if my tummy continues to misbehave, i might have to squat at the bushes to do my thing later.
which is why, i've sent mr tay out to buy me some ammo - 5 bottles of poh chai yuen

i will be back on Sunday! now i must go shower, pack and yay, just embrace the weekend :)
wait, one more ---> :)
