AND THEN, I found out that Kris is not teaching the class today so I'm not going!

Oh I couldn't resist to blog again today especially since I bid you guys a Happy Weekend and stuff earlier.

The Boy is sleeping. AGAIN!!!
Seriously, he is turning into a baby.
Only a baby can sleep this much!

But I ain't complaining.
We had a good breakfast at some chinese kopitiam this morning.
Then off we went to One Utama.
We were there at 10.05 am
Smooth traffic.
Lots and lots of empty parking lots  

All the puppy-eyed stunts can just make you vomit blood man.

Girl: Ok, The Prestige is at .... *proceeds to check the schedule board*
Boy: *Eyes still scanning*
Boy: *Eyes lit up like Christmas tree* *ting!*
Girl: What what??
Boy: The Departed! They are screening it already! Let's watch this!
Girl: The... The... The Prestigeeeeee *cry*
Boy: *umm ah, umm ah, kelam kabut* (Brain must have gone, "How ah, how ah??")
Girl: Prestigeeeeee *sulk*
Boy: Ok lar, ok lar. We watch Prestige then.

Girl took a longer look at Boy.
Damn the kesian puppy dog face man, we are watching The Departed!
The face so kesian can die like that

Got the tix and went off to Jusco to get some stuff for my new room.
On the way there, two little girls around 3yrs old were running all over infront of us.

Girl was looking at how cute the way they were running.
And Boy?
With a slightly louder than a whisper tone, he went...

"Fall."

Girl smacked him super hard. "PIG!" She asked him why.

Boy: The way they run la, so clumsy!!!

Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Then walked all the way back to GSC for The Departed.

Honestly, the movie... not good.
Even The Boy said so.
For those who didn't know this earlier, The Departed is the Hollywood version of the award-winning Infernal Affairs starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung.
So, my opinion?
The movie failed to capture the essence of 'kuwakchai'ness and somehow the bond created between Dicaprio and Damon, wasn't as great and memorable as Lau and Leung's.
The Chinaman wins lah.

And after the movie, we got out and purchased The Prestige for tomorrow. La laaaa~~~

Well, last night, the Boy K.O-ed at 10.15pm.
10.15 la machaaaa!
He just simply.... 'died-ed'.
So, still unable to sleep yet, (can you blame me when I normally sleep around 12.30 - 1am?!) I continued reading my book.

Wally Lamb's I Know This Much is True is truly engaging and hell, sometimes while reading, I'd burst out laughing because Wally's sense of humor is simply amazing.
Story revolves around Dominick and Thomas, whom are both twins.
Thomas, being the schizophrenic twin, cut off one of his hands in hopes that the war in Kuwait would stop.
And Dominick... is simply being Dominick, how Wally depicts his character is just way too hilarious.
Please get the book.

Eversince last time, I hold a special interest and passion for stories with characters suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) and Schizophrenia.
No, this book doesn't really focus on Thomas' schizophrenic condition.
So please don't misunderstand that this is one of those psychology thriller books.

Mary Higgins Clark's All Around the Town is one classic novel that I still remember up till now.
I read this book wayyyy back, when I was in my teens.
It touches on the life of Laurie Kenyon, a child, who suffers from MPD eversince she was kidnapped and abused by a creepy couple.
Laurie develops MPD eversince then and that sickness follows her through up till adulthood.
I won't go raving how truly engaging that book was when I first read it (finished it in a few hours, skipped lunch and almost skipped dinner ) because you have to read it yourself, really.
Watch out for the ending. IT TOTALLY BLEW ME OFF!
I remembered staring at the last page, not knowing how to react.
Got totally caught off guarded.

And there's also Sidney Sheldon's Tell Me Your Dreams.
Not really one of my fav authors but this book is worth mentioning.
Another great story depicting the life of a MPD patient.

I shall dedicate a separate post on Multiple Personality Disorder and you'd understand why am I so intrigued by it.
For now, just read it here

On a different note, remember how I bitched about this hotel in Taiwan that screwed up my bookings?
I removed the post la... too much negative vibe in it
Ok, then as I moved on to another hotel and was about to book, the Screwed Up Hotel called me back, apologizing profusely and told me there were 2 rooms available.
So my boss and guests are currently staying there.
From RM500++ a night (the available hotel that I was about to book) being reduced to RM230++ a night - money well saved I'd say!
So, always remember, if you know you're right, just screw away!
I did and I got cheaper rooms for the boss

Ok, I must go now.
The Boy has been pestering for breakfast eversince Ice Age.

So, the Boy and I hopped over to check out the room at BU2 after work.
I tell you, I couldn't have asked for a better room.
It's at BU2.
Very clean. Walls were repainted, so it looks quite new.

It's a family home, so each day when I come home from work, I don't have to walk into an empty house without furnitures and stuff.
Feels very homey.
It's at BU2.
Le Bathroom is shared with another girl.
But I love it! Very clean and no yucky eww smell.
Also it's kinda spacious, with light pink tiles!
I am liking my Light Pink Tiled Bathroom already!
Oh, did I mention that it's at BU2??
Muahahahahha.

AMPLE PARKING SPACE.
Mucho mucho places to park.
Byebye little love notes of RM70 samans!!! 

Hee hee. Everyday can walk to office la.

And he'd go, "We are???!!"
And I'd go, "Yes. So go do your make-up and get ready."
I love doing all these last minute shit to him.

I am starving. Famished even.
My last meal - Wed 2pm. McDonald's Fish Burger with 6 chicken nuggets.
Didn't have anything to eat after that McD's meal.
Then I was emo-ing till 10.30pm.

So yesterday, I watched all the remaining episodes of Grey's Anatomy that Ms Perfectly Flawed kindly burnt for me.
Cursed the whole blardy day for The Sims to be installed in my lappie.
It just wouldn't installed itself completely!
I even observed at which percentages that it would stop installing.
It first stopped at 21%.
After a few tries, it got my hopes high and blardy stopped at 44%.
The highest I got so far, 89%.

89%!!!
That's like only 11 freaking percent more to go!
But no. That was the highest it would go.
Need.to.head.down.to.LowYatt. soon.and quick.

I like The Sims.
It's like you get to play God.
I determine how their lives should be
I get them to fall in love, a job, build their houses and decorate them.
I even get to have their houses burnt down into ashes
Get them to make babies.
And have them killed and buried at the back of their backyards.

It's fun.

I got to sleep a lot yesterday too.
Got up, did a bit of Grey's then went back to sleep.
Got up, McD's drive-thru, a bit of Grey's and back to sleep again.
Pathetically fun.
Any human contact was refused.

That's what I'd usually do when I'm emo-ing.

It is 23 October today.
I am feeling the sudden rush of immense anxiety that I can't even put into words.

I gave my 1 month notice of moving out last week.
Therefore I won't be paying my Nov rent as it is automatically deducted from the deposit that I've paid when I moved in.

But, holy shit.
I don't have a place to stay!
Not any in mind at all!
I just know I want a nice big room with an attached bathroom in BU2 (Bandar Utama 2)

Is that really too much to ask for???   
No, seriously. Is it really too much to ask for?
Being specific is good.
But it limits your choices like damn hell a lot.
So at the end of the day, as time is running shorter and shorter, I guess I'm just gonna have to settle for ANY (but with decent and clean bathroom) room in one of the BUs.

I so don't want to have to share the bathroooooommmm
