i'm working from home the whole of this week. don't ask why *mischevious grin*
ok, updates.
david (i seldom call him by his first name so typing his name here seems weird) and i both battled club med and airasia for almost 2 weeks.
his very good friend is getting married in ipoh on 29 Sept and clever mr tay FORGOT to mention this to me, so i've booked the flights and extra hotel accommodation in ubud (we're extending our stay) for 28 Sept onwards.
so jialat right.
initial airasia price to bali for 2 pax = RM950++ super!
now, after amendments = RM1,100++ not so super!
PLUS FREAKING RM300 OF EXTRA CHARGE!!! very extremely tremendously not super!
i mean, wtf right. rm300 just to change our flight dates?!?! i'm seriously baffled.
come on, when i was too sick to fly previously to cambodia, all they needed was just a doctor's letter to prove that i was unfit to fly and the fined fee was only a measly RM50. RM50
RM50 and RM300 - big difference.
so, ok, i got smarter. next time, i'm asking my friend who is a doctor to write me a letter then. geez.

that done. i have to deal with legian hotel now. legian claims my card won't go thru to charge me the additional night.
mr tay booked the flight for us to go on 20 - 25 Oct when it's supposed to be 20 - 24 Oct.
so, the additional night came from that mistake. called airasia 2 hours later since the first flight amendment to enquire whether i'll be charged another rm300 for another change within 24 hrs. apparently, yes.
screw it mr tay said, let's just booked an extra night.
so now, i have to deal with legian hotel.
club med. why we had to battle with them. ok to cut long story short, they are not paying for our flights when in the voucher that i won, it clearly states on clause 10 - air fuel and airport taxes are included in this package.
misprint, they say. i won't say more

i have gotten A PLANT for mr tay's place. and it's sitting pretty outside the balcony.
well, a girl's gotta start somewhere, ain't it? he said no to puppies, no to rabbits, no to hamsters, so ok, i went out and came back with a plant.
how sad
at least it's a living thing! and i'm caring for a live entity! so if i am able to keep this plant alive and thriving for 6 months, do i qualify for a puppy? <--- question is posed to mr tay.
my plant has a name too. yes, i named every damn thing that i own. my plant is called 'david'. yes, a male plant.
guess what i did with David the Plant today? i poured a mixture of my pee + water on its soil. natural fertilizer, incase you haven't heard. don't worry, i called my mom and googled it out for reassurance before doing so. this thing is supposed to be good. full of nitrogen, it says on google. a tad troublesome collecting the pee though. i will spare you the nightmare from having to read the whole process.

last week, i had 3 meals of Chilis.
1st - with kenny, mr tay and janice
2nd - with family
3rd - with gary, aiwen, yip and gf
2nd & 3rd was on the same day. lunch and dinner.
i swear, if i see ANOTHER Triple Play, i will puke.

weekend was spent at laundry, the curve and blackhole in hartamas.

oh my, impressive?
it's called The Blue Tower
having never tasted it before, mr tay ordered TWO, as you can already see above
no, that's not mr tay. that's yip

it's not just the lights. it is indeed BLUE.
THE YUCKIEST DRINK EVARRRR.
everyone tried guessing the ingredient in it.
gary: macam limau ais.
mr tay: limau ais with too much sugar.
me: not enough of alcohol.
seriously, i'm not kidding. all it needed was generous splashes of vodka. i suspect there was vodka in it but very minimal.
met up with them again the following night at blackhole and gary claimed he pee-d blue urine the following morning.
hhahahahahahaha. yeah right.

smart me ordered a Bailey's as a standby.

it is such a beautiful beautiful dish!

my ideal trifle should be served nigella's style - in a big round trifle bowl
