Those hands... are HIS. I never lifted a single finger to help, I only snapped pics But I cooked lunch and dinner la! No pics, lazy to take.
And oh, I scalded my left hand with hot boiling soup last night. It was quite bad initially. My whole left hand was stinging and was RED! Thought I wouldn't be able to drive the next day. So I soaked it in cold water, rubbed with ice and baby applied Burnol for me. He even washed the dishes after dinner *heehee*
Girl: IF hor, I said IF only, IF you plan to get me something on 1 Oct, please don't get it. Boy: Hmmm... Girl: I TELL YOU WHAT TO GET Boy: Ok, what do you want? Girl: A new pair of running shoes. Boy: Haha ok. But you not pantang meh? Girl: Huh??? What is there to be pantang about? Boy: Giving people shoes. It's like asking them to go away. Girl: Ohhh, ceh. Me is no Cina Cina girl ok. Boy: Ok, I buy for you. This weekend we go.
Then today ah...
The paper bag is damn nice right! I love the design on it
Ahhh... my fav black Adidas box which I never have the heart to throw them away!
Jeng jeng jeng! My latest pair of running shoes! The 3 stripes actually have pink splashes on them. Can only be seen at certain angles
Got PINK details, I like!
Back view also very nice, so must take pic
Found this shot from the website. Much clearer
So this, is my fourth pair now. First and second pair, both Adidas also, worn out after so long. My third pair which I bought by myself yesterday, was a New Balance. That one, a bit ugly, not so nice because, it's New Balance la come on. But New Balance shoes are known to be very good for running and most long distance runners prefer this to Adidas and Nike.
I need two pairs because it's always good to alternate. I can't see myself using this pair of Adidas darlings 4 times a week at the gym! Sakit hati
So, baby bought me this while I got him the Pixart thingy for 1 Oct
When we got out from the Adidas store:
Girl: Haha, my shoes' name is Isogon. Boy: Eh? Girl: Isogon as in "I so gone" Boy: *burst out laughing* Girl: Why are you laughing? Boy: I so gone! It's like saying "You're so gone" - Away from me! Proves the Cina saying is right la then. Bwahahahhaha! Girl: *Smacks head*
Get a Friendster Account if You Haven't Gotten One Already!
I tell you, Friendster is amazing. You do not need to be in constant contact with someone to know what is going on in his life. Read it from his profile: Single or In A Relationship. Read up on his testimonials. And what tells more are the photos he puts up, really.
So, there was this girl I know but we weren't that close added me in her list a couple of months back. And from her profile and photos that she put up, I somehow gathered that she was quite close to my ex. No, not Kevin the Horrible Ex but ex, as in Puppy Love Ex back when I was 19. Puppy Love Ex is also in my list.
Now, I tell you what is amazing. Her ex-bf is in my list too. They were once a very lovey-dovey couple and when they broke up, it was quite a shock to me. Needless to say, I found out through... yup, you guessed it, Friendster.
So, today I was feeling very busy-body. I looked thru my list of friends, reading and absorbing all their recent updates. Then, I saw hers. Status was changed from Single ---> In A Relationship. And in her photo descriptions of my ex who was just referred to as (his name) once a upon a time ago, is now given an upgrade to "Darling". How cute.
Then, not stopping there, I looked at my ex's profile as well. Clear enough, status was changed to In A Relationship as well. And yes, he had photos of them together as well.
It's amazing how we are connected thru Friendster in so many ways. And the fact how much this Friendster thing can tell or update you about someone, whether you like it or not... is incredible
Just like how the song goes, "I'm So Excited, And I Just Can't Hide It..."
My MSN topic for today: "It has arrived!!! And it's LOVELY!"
and few moments later...
d a v i d i a n i s m says:
i knw wat has arrived
Hahahaha! I literally burst out laughing. The boy knows exactly which button to be pushed and it's always at the exact right moment *chuckles* He roughly knows what I have done and ordered, he just hasn't seen the end product yet
So this is what arrived today:
Can't reveal more than this yet
Check again on 1 Oct 2006, where I will post up pictures of what this whole hooha is all about 1 Oct, la laaa ~~~~
Angie if you are reading this.. this is a good excuse for you to start running.. join la.. i train with you ok..
I know 10K is not THAT hard because I've done 9K many times and attempted 10K once before but the thing is I've stopped running regularly for months now. Knee problems, yada yada yada.
BUT I've started running back at the gym yesterday and I did 7K... so happy with myself So, looking at the timetable here, which sets the marathon on 5 Nov, I have 1+ month to train up.
I think I will take it up. Work around my life differently for a change.
Since I'm so nice, share a song with you guys with a song I currently play non-stop on my player: Groove Armada - Purple Haze. Watch out for beat that kicks in on minute 1. Click to download here (valid only for the next 7 days)
Because I haven't been sweating since Fri. Oh, I mean, sweating in playing sports sense
So, later I am going to run 7K. I blardy well hope I am motivated enough later to do it! I've stopped running for quite sometime now due to the pain on my knees, all from running too much.
Need loaadddss of mental preparation from now till later. Know why? Coz it's like how sometimes when you run, you lose focus and motivation thus leading to losing energy and giving up even before finishing the race? That's how struggling it can be for runners. I admire those women who can do 42K, or maybe 20K is enough to blow me away. I was at my best - 10K. Max.
So, no 7K today, no go home
Something funny happened this morning. I was at the Penchala Toll on the way to work when I was gonna fish out my wallet from the bag to pay up. And guess what? I forgot to bring my wallet!

"sebab saya tak bayar RM2 tol"
Chi sin day but I feel gooood, just like Groove Armada.
These, taken after my RPM class in the gym yesterday.
Ad #1 - Shopping with your girlfriend when you'd rather watch football. Now that's GREATNESS.
Ad #2 - Knowing the difference between a sale and a bargain. Now that's GREATNESS.
Ad #3 - Sticking to your shopping list. Now that's GREATNESS.
(This one's taken while driving out from the preferred parking area)
There was a 4th one I saw few weeks back while waiting for the movie to start at GSC. If you notice, when you are going down the elevator, there's this ad that says, "Not telling your friends how the movie ends. Now that's GREATNESS." So, appropriate right!
Ad #1 is darn cute la. And they so strategically placed it right infront of our RPM room. Guys, take note! *chuckles*
And of coz, these ads were brought to you by...
What is greatness to you? Greatness to me is, being a caring Daughter, a good Friend, a loving and understanding Girlfriend, a fantastic Wife and a great Mother.
One of the many reasons why I hate parking outside my apartment is having some idiot, who thought it was cute and funny to push my left rear mirror all the way forward. Made me panic for awhile. Checked all corners of my car to see any damage was done. Moron.
Anyways, I woke up early today and cooked lunch to be brought to work today:
Stir fry siu pak choy In my tortilla wrap: Stir fry beef with chillies, asparagus and onions
And by the looks of it, I definitely need to buy a more efficient lunchbox. Notice how I can't separate the two dishes in the pic? So, the sauces from the beef dish went over to my veggies. So I hunted around and I found these lovelies!
Priced at $9.50 only as compared to the one I like. And metal is always better than plastic for keeping hot stuff. Hot food + Plastic = Chemical reaction yada yada yada :)
frenzyskye: sick! frenzyskye: The victim's husband told GuangMing Daily that he had had sex with his wife soon after the rape but before she went for her medical examination.
As such, the doctors have insufficient evidence of a rape.
The victim has also yet to attend a photofit session with the police to identify her rapist.
Her husband told China Press that he was too busy with work to take her to the police station. frenzyskye: STUPID OR NOT?!?!?!?! frenzyskye: ur wife kena raped frenzyskye: no time to take her to police station frenzyskye: somemore have sex with her soon after the rape frenzyskye: hello! she not traumatized wan ah?? kena raped very fun is it frenzyskye: stupid fuck
Call me weird but I love grocery shopping. I derive great satisfaction from it and it has never failed to give me that therapeutic feeling that I need sometimes. And yesterday evening, I did just that.
And, I am just sick of eating outside to be honest. So, I listed down the items that I needed to get at Tesco and off I went pushing the trolley cart after work.
Here's my loot:
My loot
