Everyday, around between 4-ish - 5pm, I start feeling peckish. And during these moments, I'd usually make a cup of hot milo kosong kao and grab a few Jacobs crackers.
The art of savoring Jacobs crackers and hot milo kosong kao is an acquired skill. One must be patient and alert at all times. Those of you who consume Jacobs crackers would know by now that they don't soften easily. It takes a little longer than the other commercialized cracker brands out there. So, you need to dip it in long enough to get them soften, just at the right texture. However, never leave your dipped crackers unattended. Come back 5 min later and I'm afraid it's gonna be Milo porridge for you. Heh!
Anyway, mad women at work:
frenzyskye: *ting ting ting* frenzyskye: milo + crackers time! Lady Luthien: OMG. you are so freaky! Lady Luthien: i was just thinking of that and thinking i'm gonna YM you!!!!!!!! frenzyskye: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Lady Luthien: great minds think alike! frenzyskye: but of course! frenzyskye: scary wei frenzyskye: lol Lady Luthien: yaman frenzyskye: shoo.. go make milo frenzyskye: i go make mine Lady Luthien: ok ok (7 min later) frenzyskye: *dip dip dip* frenzyskye: your pantry in africa ah? Lady Luthien: no lah. i made phone call, went toilet and then made milo Lady Luthien: the pantry is next to me actually
Angie is like this deranged woman at 10.00pm on Tuesdays.
No, make that 9.45pm. Because at this hour, she makes sure the tv remote is held tightly and safely in her hands. Her mobile is put on silent. No one is to disturb her peace at this crucial moment of 10pm - 11pm. Not even DT.
You will find her tucked snuggly under her brown comforter. Her bolster, placed horizontally and a pillow, placed against the bolster and she, will plop her fat head on the pillow with the remote at hand.
And, yes, you will find her there for the next 1 hour, watching Desperate Housewives, savoring every scene, every sarcasm, every wit and every muscle on Mike Delphino.
All these, while wiggling her toes under the brown comforter, in her own world of whimsical Wisteria Lane with Susan, Lynette, Bree, Gabrielle and Edie. And Mike Delphino.
And oh, it's the same routine on Mondays. She has a date every Monday at 10.30pm with yummy Wentworth Miller of Prison Break. Heh!
Tired of looking at your boring pairs of classic black or white pumps? Feel like throwing them away and ahem... have an 'excuse' to go shopping for a new pair? Well, don't, because now there's this really brilliant invention for the ladies known as minisocks and they are so cute!
So many colors to choose from!
So many ways of tying!
I had to put up a purple version for both PF and myself. Heh!
A perfect quick fix for a stylish looking pair of shoes. And with minisocks, they make it look as though your shoe collection has been doubled without having to break a hole in your wallet!
Boy: Come, I show you something. Girl: Where? Boy: See this. *proceeded to demonstrate* Girl: Eeeee... like magic! Boy: Come come, you try. Girl: Ok Ok! Wait, I touch, you take a video with my phone ok?
Hehehe. I know I know very jakun of me. But really, I haven't seen a touch-me lamp before This video was taken few days back at Ikea.
Boy is 3 hours apart @ 110km/hr away from Girl now. Girl misses the stupid Boy.
For a squarish bag which we all women usually carry, I guess a smaller Purseket would make more sense as you do not need to fold it so much which results in bulkiness.
I think I shall attempt my self DIY purseket in PINK! Yea, like the pink here
Yes, those curly thingies. And they cost me RM140, hehe.
The texture is no longer fine, flat and lifeless. It's WAVY, BOUNCY and CUTE! Haha!
It looks like this now. Only wavier since I just got out of the salon yesterday. I hope they (the hair) tame down in a week's time. Hehehe. This is gorgeous Rachel Weisz and her newborn baby by the way.
And I plan to keep this for a long long time. Can't stand straight hair (on me that is). Rebonding sucks
I love watching advertisements and most of them, they just breeze through me without leaving an impression. But this one did. This car advertisement caught my eye and made me go, "WOW".
I think most of us women have this dilemma. We can have sooooooooo many bags but only 1 mobile, possibly 1 wallet which we always stick to, 1 hairbrush and 1 make-up basic set which we carry around (ie. gloss, powder, little mirror, etc).
And isn't it troublesome to have to 'transport' them from Bag A to Bag B on Monday? And oh, Bag C is more appropriate for my outfit on Wed, so let's do the transportation from Bag B to Bag C now. But on weekends, playful me wants to have a casual bag to go with, so off they go into Bag D. You see what I'm getting at here? Each time we want to switch into another bag, we need to empty the current bag and move the items into the OTHER bag. Hassle, kan?
So, I found this on the net. It's a Purseket. And I think it's brilliant.
I love the small and drop-in versions.
A closer look:
Go to: http://www.purseket.com/ for more info. And anyone knows where can I find this in Malaysia?
Come to think of it, I have a strong feeling I can even make this myself! All I need is a padded material - not too soft and not too hard - and a sewing machine! Yeah, I think that would be my weekend project! (while slurping pak kor yi mai)
