Wednesday
I think most of us women have this dilemma. We can have sooooooooo many bags but only 1 mobile, possibly 1 wallet which we always stick to, 1 hairbrush and 1 make-up basic set which we carry around (ie. gloss, powder, little mirror, etc). And isn't it troublesome to have to 'transport' them from Bag A to Bag B on Monday? And oh, Bag C is more appropriate for my outfit on Wed, so let's do the transportation from Bag B to Bag C now. But on weekends, playful me wants to have a casual bag to go with, so off they go into Bag D. You see what I'm getting at here? Each time we want to switch into another bag, we need to empty the current bag and move the items into the OTHER bag. Hassle, kan? So, I found this on the net. It's a Purseket. And I think it's brilliant.
A closer look: Go to: http://www.purseket.com/ for more info. And anyone knows where can I find this in Malaysia? Come to think of it, I have a strong feeling I can even make this myself! All I need is a padded material - not too soft and not too hard - and a sewing machine! Yeah, I think that would be my weekend project! (while slurping pak kor yi mai)
Tuesday
I am heading home to Puchong this weekend. And when I do, I shall just be contented with crappy tongsui (Chinese dessert which translated literally to 'sugar water') in PJ. I'm not really a tong sui fan. Nor do I have to end my meal each time with a dose of them sweet delectables but ahem, I can never resist Pak Kor Yi Mai (beancurd boiled with barley and ginkgo nuts). And boy, does my mom knows it well. "Come back this weekend ah, I boiling pak kor yi mai for you." Muahahaha, how not to go back you tell me I know us tend to rate our moms as the best cook, but trust me my mom makes the BESTest pak kor yi mai. Best of the best of the BEST.Can't say the same for her cooking skills though, but they are just fine Why is her version so special? Simple. The texture. You know the pak kor yi mai you have around town, it's different whereby the fu chok (beancurd) used are not the types that melt and blend into the tong sui. My mom's version, heavenly. After a couple of hours of boiling, one can peep into the hot pot and see smooth and milky white tong sui bubbling away, with tons of ginkgo nuts bobbing around. Yes, my mom knows how much I love ginkgo nuts in it so she uses LOTS of them. So yeah, smooth and milky white tong sui just like soya milk. And each time she boils this, she has to separate mine from the rest of the family. Know why? Because, daddy and my brother both love it sweet as in tong sui (sugar water) sweet. I like mine, piping hot with just a light hint of sweetness I feel the slight need to convert you people out there. Pak kor yi mai sold at stalls are really rip-offs! Wait till you try my momma's version. See, it's possible. Just dropby Puchong during Chinese New Year. Hehehe! I think you guys must be thinking I'm nuts by now. But I'm not, I just so happened to have this That woman sure hell knows
Sunday
Today has been quite a productive day. I woke up to find the boy had gone to work. Yes, you read it right. To work. Poor baby had to be there by 7.30am to settle some stuff. And I woke up around 8-ish, and then realised at about 9-ish, I couldn't possibly sleep anymore, so I got up. Meddled around the house and made some breakfast while surfing the Net to check on my adsense, blog, mails, and to catch up on some little chats with friends. I knew I was supposed to clean the place up but I procrastinated (and finally gave up) till 12pm and texted Jo-anne about the massage we were going to at 1pm. Searched for my car keys only to realise that I had left them at the boy's car. Called Jo and had her come pick me up instead, hehe. So, off we went for a massage at Uptown. Parking on weekends in Uptown is wonderful as opposed to its hellish weekdays. Jo had the relaxing one while I had a traditional massage. Mine was rather painful as the therapist hit all your pressure points. Painfully satisfying I'd say. I'm a sucker for pain anyway. Heh. Then, being the orang minyak we were, it was rather uncomfortable to be going shopping, thus we head on for lunch at a cafe nearby. Ok, as this is a "What I Did Today" post, I might as well story you on "What We Had for Lunch". Jo had a Chicken Curry Glass Noodle Laksa and Cincau while I had a Beef Soup Glass Noodle with Nes-Lo Ice. Portions were huge, so we didn't really finished them. No pics here because: Via SMS Me: Woman! My body is aching! Massage is GOOD! See ya later! I bringing camera, for blog. Dun laugh! She: Eh cannot cannot. Massage that time look like shit, not glamorous. Luthien must be glamorous I say! She = Jo-Anne = LadyLuthien It was girlie chats then. We sat there with her Cincau and my Nes-Lo and chatted away till it was 4.30pm when I suddenly remembered that I had to be back to resume my maid duties. Got home and thankfully the boy wasn't back yet. I proceeded to - 1 min: Removed the first pillowcase. And no, I was not done yet. I swept and mopped the floor like there was no tomorrow. So much of hair and urgh, hate hairs on floor! And when the floor's done, I cleaned up the very messy side table of his. And to think a woman's room is bad, heh! It is looking very clean and organized now. For now. For how long, we shall see. Heh! I even cut up a little box for him to put his credit card statements, bills and what not. Before this, they were ALL over the floor. Tsk tsk. Next, I threw the bathmat into a tub to soak and wash. I had a feeling he has never washed it before! Wait, I'm not done yet. Next, feeling all sweaty, I decided to shower whilst cleaning the toilet. 2-in-1 kinda thing, and by 6.30pm, I was done. Finally. And just in time, the boy got home from work, showered and doodled around and now we're off to dinner at Sakae Sushi, The Curve. The end.

I AM SICK OF CHECKING AIRLINE DETAILS FOR PEOPLE. First, it was just one or two from my boss which is fine, really. NOW, I have a WHOLE spreadsheet to fill in as requested by my colleague. I can even call the travel agency without having to look up for its contact number now. It is THAT frequent now. But thankfully I have a very patient travel agent to deal with me. Ling, bless her for being so nice that the moment I speak to her, my anger subsides. A little. I am not a clerk. ......
Thursday
Laugh what? Cannot laugh k You know as she announced the winners for each week, my heart was just sinking away. Every week, I kept bugging DT, "My slogans quite power wan ler, how come cannot get lehhh? Being the stubborn mule that I am, I kept submitting my weekly entries and haha, as you can see above, it finally paid off So what do I get? Pray for me too ya?
Wednesday
Dilemma: Earrings collection is growing out of hand! It's all over my room. Filled to the brim! Open the door and... and... a whole load of precious trinkets will pour out and engulf you! Ok, I over-exaggerated. I was just being the drama queen that I am. But, it is definitely too many now (and is STILL growing). I'm running out of holders to hold them! This one... * I LOVE LOVE LOVE *
Found this fairy holder on someone's site. Didn't state where she got it from. And is able to hold only 10 pairs. Erm, I have much MUCH more than 10 pairs, so, many different variations of the fairy holders would be good
