Last night, thanks to Gracie, bf and I were invited to the SATC movie premier at GSC Midvalley. I will not comment on it cause bf and i have watched the full uncensored version before. Celebrities there were Elaine Daly (loved the dress she wore!), Serena C (err not quite the celeb but anyways), Jojo Struys (gorgeous in real life), Harith Iskandar and gang, etc. They censored so many scenes! To a point I got quite restless and felt compelled to explain to Grace, who sat on my right, what happened etc.
Today and tomorrow, I won't be in the office. Away for a workshop at Uptown and today, being Day 1, surprisingly I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I was actually dreading this workshop and was finding ways and excuses to escape from it. To make matters worse, work was piling up so, being away for 2 whole days for the workshop wasn't really a good idea but it was a compulsory workshop, so.
Made new friends. Very nice bunch of people and the facilitator was really interesting as well. For the first time, I didn't find myself fighting hard to stay awake throughout the sessions. Looking forward to the last session tomorrow.
At the end of Day 1 today, I've never felt prouder to be part of the IBM community. For the first time in my entire working career, I actually felt great being an IBMer :)
No seriously, I mean it.
* Looking for a good album to buy? I found one - Back to Love in Bossa Moments
Songs in the album, all rearranged into sounds of bossa nova:
01. Bleeding Love - Rachelle Spring 02. You're Beautiful - Marcela Mangabeira 03. Back To Black - Monique Kessous 04. Your Song - Marcelo Rezende 05. Don't Stop The Music - Marcela Mangabeira 06. Bizarre Love Triangles - Marcelo Rezende 07. You Raise Me Up - Cris Delanno 08. I Should Be So Lucky - Tahta Menezes 09. Lovin' You - Marcela Mangabeira 10. Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) - Bob Tostes 11. Let's Stay Together - Liz Menezes 12. Just The Way You Are - Marcela Mangabeira 13. As Time Goes By - Cecilia Dale 14. I Say A Little Prayer For You - Taryn Szpilman 15. Over The Rainbow - Pery Ribeiro 16. The Look Of Love - Patty Ascher
Oh well, I might be bias since I'm a great fan of the bossa nova genre.
Also, another great album to buy would be, seriously, The SATC movie soundtrack.
Currently hooked on:
Jem - It's Amazing Kaskade - I Like The Way The Bird and The Bee - How Deep is Your Love Mairi Campbell and Dave Francis - Auld Lang Syne
It's amazing, it makes my heart sing Now it's up to you

But I just have to say this.
Sex and the City - The Movie is FABULOUS. Don't ask me how I got it, ask the bf :)
I have 4 people waiting in line to borrow this full, uncensored version, so gotta wait awhile longer if you want. The probable censored scenes in the cinema are a must-watch, hehehe!
I love the walk-in closet, I love Lily, I love the Vivienne Westwood wedding dress sans the stupid bird on Carrie's head, and I abso-f***ing-lutely love everything about it! Imma gonna watch it again!
ever thine ever mine ever ours

9:45PM He says to go to the study room. "There's a letter which just came for you while you were at work." She potters over to the study room to collect her letter. "What else? Must be the usual credit card bills," she sighs. But no, it was a white envelope with no stamps or writings over it. Completely blank. A few anxious rips at the edge of the envelope, this was what revealed to her... A cute littlle self-made card. Front

So cute! He claimed he searched high and low for an image like this. Awww... so sweet. He knows that she loves stickmen images! :) Back You bet I won't! (ps: apparently our boy is still living in 2007) *hee!* I wuff you. .

It was July last year that I won the Club Med, Bali trip and a Sony Bravia LCD. 8th day into July this year and I've won a free meal from Pick n' Brew, One Utama. Coincidence or what? Pick n' Brew is one of the latest restaurants in One Utama and the menu is pretty good. A little probably like Delicious. They are having this thingy where you dip your hand into this bowl to fish out a voucher. This voucher entitles you to either a Free Beverage for 1 year, Free Meal or RM10 off your entire meal. I ordered this set meal - Roast Beef with Spinach Gnocchi which comes with Baked Oysters with cheese for starters and coffee. Sue ordered a yummy looking Avocado with Shrimps Salad. The deal is this - you are only allowed to open your voucher when you're paying for your meal. So I opened mine, and won a Free Meal. We were asked to pose to have our picture taken, haha. Had to hold the voucher thingy while posing, haha so lame :P And then we went to Watson to buy lipsticks. I bought L'oreal's new Color Riche range in Pink Romance - Eva Longoria while Sue got hers in Deep Rose - Gong Li. My horoscope in a magazine for this month says: It's an emotional time for you. You will be looking inwards and reflecting on the past, but you will receive much support from your loved ones. After July 20, you will face a turn of events and for the better! You may even receive a work related offer that you won't be able to refuse.
If that's gonna happen, please, bring it on! I've set July 20 on alarm on my handphone with subject - Rainbow Day! I know it's silly to believe horoscopes but it's all for good fun ya! :) Oh happy day.

Gemini Likes: talking, novelty, variety, anything unusual and working on multiple projects at the same time. Gemini Dislikes: being alone, being in a rut, mental inaction, conventional learning and feeling tied down. <--- how true.General features Gemini, the Sign of the Twins, is third in the Western Zodiac and extends from May 21 to June 20. It is also an Air Sign. Typical Geminies are very lively and charming, and excellent conversationalists. They are possessed of very active minds and bodies, and are often much younger-looking than they really are (ahem! i don't think so!). Invention is their stock in trade. On the down side, they are also restless, easily bored, and unable to concentrate on any one thing for a prolonged period of time. (i cannot stress more how true this is)
Forever changing their mind at the drop of a hat, they are notoriously undependable. There is also present a tendency to manipulate others to serve their own purposes. But a Gemini will be more than make up for any negative qualities though the sheer scintillating entertainment value of their very presence. Typical Geminis are very lively and charming and excellent conversationalists. They are active mentally and physically and are often much younger-looking than they really are. They are restless, easily bored and unable to concentrate on any one thing for a prolonged period of time. Since they are restless and keep changing their minds, they are notoriously undependable. The intellect dominates Gemini and all things that are intellectual are valued greatly by them. As communication is also important to Geminis, knowledge is never a thing to be hoarded. Geminis are the most versatile of all the sun signs. They will decide on an option and completely change their mind next day (how to run events??). Nothing is ever written in stone by Gemini. They are free soul, driven by curiosity and desire to know (in other words, 'kaypoh') Geminis rarely get deeply absorbed in any one task and anything they haven't touched intrigue them the most. I, Angie Low, is proud to be a Gemini :)

My bf is a pain in the ass
I'll tell you why. He secretly changed my calling name of "Leng Lui' in his mobile into ---> Hilang His idea was to: - have me attempt to change my calling name again in the next couple of weeks only to...
- have me fumble aimlessly at the name list with "Leng Lui" missing which will then see me...
- repeatedly ask him, "Where's my name?" "Where's my name??"
- only to have him repeatedly reply, "It's hilang." "Hilang already."
And you can't really fault him for that. Because seriously, I'm now known as Hilang in his mobile.

Work is slowly killing me. But let's not talk about that now, shall we.
Just got back from dinner with the bf at Souled Out. It was under the dimmed yellow lights (we sat upstairs), that I saw how handsome my baby looked in that pink shirt I bought him for his birthday. Freshly cut hair from the weekend was a plus point too. I don't know about you, but I've always find that there's just something delectably yummy in a man, stepping out from the salon, with a good haircut.
And to think nothing else could add more to the whole extremely relaxing evening, he ordered for me a Lemon Lychee Martini. Awww... It was such a relaxing dinner as we chatted so much about work, mostly mine, in which I finally felt my tensed shoulders slowly releasing its knots which I've been accummulating the whole of today. Extremely lovely evening indeed.
I have numerous friends request on my Facebook. Which say, out of 10, only 2 are genuinely my long lost friends. The rest were like just trying to add me into their evergrowing list of 389 in total of 'friends', which are all girls.
Girls with names like - Susu Liu, Kiki Nini, Stefany Chan, Akemi Xiao Ai, Mecumi Ai, Vynnci Chan, Kendy Tan and many more. See what I mean by chinese girls with weird english names in my earlier post? So clicked 'Ignore' in most of the add requests, I did.
It's Thursday tomorrow. I don't know about you, but this week seems to have past faster than the usual dread. It's good right??
IT'S ALL GOOD.
I'll be fine, I'll be fine, I'll be fine - I keep repeating that to myself like a mantra. All that is needed to do now, is to get into the game and play it well.

My new job is not as wonderful as some might perceived. Yes, I might be handling events, dealing with ads, ad agencies, playing around with company's money, shop online by raising carts and bonds, and other perceived wonderfulness - it's really not all that.
One of things that I've learnt in the workshop today. If any of my events screws up, be it, low attendance rate, bad feedback, went over budget, etc - red flags will show up mercilessly in the system, alerting the worldwide team and then I will have to be answerable to their probes. Such a huge responsibility lor! And and, if PO is not raised and signed, and if I still go ahead with my event, I will get the 1st strike. 3 strikes and I'm out. In other words, I have to be VERY VERY careful.
Precisely at 3.01pm today, I sent mrtay an SMS - I don't know whether I'm stupid or what. I don't understand.
A few O&M staff also sat in for the entire workshop. One of them, turned to me and said, "Whoa, your IMC role is tough mannnn."
:(
On a happier note, curly wurly is gone. I'm back being a straight. Hehe. Also, befriended Olivia, my fellow ibm midmarket counterpart from Hong Kong. She was so surprised I could speak Cantonese, you should have seen the look on her face. She had the impression that Malaysian Chinese girls can't speak the Chinese dialect. Mr Tay suggested that I bring her and her other team member out drinking tomorrow, like maybe to the AHR. Me, driving in KL, you must be kidding me. Can... if my car is equipped with GPS.
