I can't really recall the stuff that we did or places that we went during the long weekend. But I recall, in random: Tony Stark *loved* Dinner at Purple Cane again with Gary+Aiwen+Winnie. Crispy duck again :) Loafing at Midvalley/Gardens to look for nice ballerina flats - none KLCC for movie and shopping. Dinner at my parents' on Monday. The bf whacked the entire side of the steamed fish. After dinner on Monday, followed bf to his weekly futsal session. Forced him to put on the MU jersey his friend got him for this birthday. Hahahaha! FYI - mr tay supports any club that is playing against MU. The bf installed a new storage device in the room for me! I can hang many many clothes, necklaces, scarfs, bags on it! Went around Midvalley scouting for Sony Bravias. The bf wants to get one. My Bravia stays put at my parents' place since daddy has fallen in love with it, so it's non-negotiable Marathoned on Sex and The City. Samantha Jones/Kim Catrall reminded us of a certain someone we know. Hahahahaha... One of the bf's units is up for rent so we met up with potential tenants. The other unit just got rented out 2 months ago, but that's at the 14th floor. Ok, here are some pics that we took of the unit for rent. We did a video too with my cacat voice in it, but I too malas to upload. The bf and I did the very basic deco ourselves. I still recall, 2 years ago, us traipsing around Cavenzi, Ikea, etc to hunt for basic but nice furnitures. Perdana View condo (opposite Armanee Terrace) 6th floor Fully furnished with 3 airconds and a water heater unit in each bathroom Previous tenant was a German dude Rent - RM1,700
Living hall
29' tv will be provided
Kitchen Second bedroom (both rooms with a Queen size bed each) Study room The bathroom outside Master bedroom who's that?? Wonderful view from the balcony Perfect for tenants who love to ogle at girls in bikinis like mr tay. If you know anyone who might be interested, let me know. Although we had a couple of tenants who have came to check out the place, and might confirm pretty soon. Let me know!
* i might have some pretty good news soon. keeping my fingers crossed :)

What do you want for your birthday? asked the boy
and I MMS-ed him this 2.55 fat chance. extremely fat chance but that's what i really wanted ya! was just being honest i don't know bi, surprise me Today is Friday! Plus, it's a long weekend with Monday off! Say good riddance to Monday Blues! Although I highly suspect I'll be hit with a Tuesday Turmoil the very next day. Oh well...
Today I'm happy-happy, wearing super comfy and casual attire to work. I do not care, coz I'm already in a holiday mood. Black skinny jeans, black spag top, white cardigan, long necklace, black chunky ring and white ballerina flats. So comfy! Ahhhh.... Was at Topshop again yesterday and bought this skirt. So cute, I couldn't resist and in size XS! I seem to be scoring pretty well with the smaller sizes lately *happy* Then, I checked myself into the gym and attended Kris' RPM class. 1 hour later, I think I excreeted 2 bucketful of sweat! Came out feeling as though I've lost 10 kilos *lol* Received an SMS from bibi saying that he was coming back (from JB) at night instead of today (friday). So, I was extra happy! Picked me up from gym, then tapao-ed dinner and headed home to catch American Idol. David Cook, you da man! Anticipating 5.30pm today and I'm off to Midvalley/Gardens with bibi. Might eat at Purple Cane for dinner again later! Have a good weekend, people.

Got bored of the clothes in my wardrobe. Packed another bag and passed to mom to be given away.
After work, I decided to do some shopping on my own.
Topshop
I tried this top in S but was too loose at the chest area. I was surprised. So took XS instead. See why I love UK brands.
It was on 50% off as well! Satin material with a ribbon to tie at the back.
I wanted some basic tops. Some stripes to wear as the inner top and probably a black sleeveless turtleneck on the outside. So, I got this - RM96, slashed half the price and it's a cool RM48
Ooooh I love this. But it's a new arrival item priced at RM96.
White batwing! I KIV-ed this.
Dorothy Perkins
This jacket was on 50% off but this in M seems a little big for me. Weird huh. I was actually looking for a shorter tighter fitting black jacket. So, no go for this one.
Another basic. I wanted a long sleeve white basic to be worn as it is or under a vest or jacket or spaghetti strap sundress or, the possibility is endless. And this one was on 50% off too.
This is in size M. Usually I like my top a little looser so I tried M first but it looked quite horrible and shapeless.
Size S. Much better Bought this.
Thought this would look cute on me but I was wrong. Looked kinda auntie. No go.
This is cute! With little birds all over! But only size M and above left. It fits but my only gripe is the sleeves which seemed big. When I lift my arms up, the hole is huge! Maybe I should check out the branch at Midvalley.
This is a tribute to Miss PF. Hehehehe! Purple! Butterfly! New arrival. I got this with my member card with a 10% off.
Lastly, I checked out Forever21 and as usual I came out with nothing. I don't quite like the clothes there. Overpriced and quality is actually quite bad. But sometimes, if you look hard enough, you can find some good stuff there. Well, I didn't this time.
I then, walked back to Topshop and got my white batwing with 10% off. It's not everyday you chance upon a perfect white batwing! Oh what a good haul today has been. Now I can go sleep happy

Perfect Black Skinny Jeans: Found
Now you know why I always like to get my pants from DP/Ms Selfridge/Topshop. A black pair of Skinny Black Jeans in UK Size 10. It's an "S"! All these while I thought UK 10 is an M and I have been buying pants from these shops at size 10 and TODAY, I paid extra attention to the sizing charts in the fitting room and hey, I just discovered that UK 10 is a wonderful "S"! Family and I were at Midvalley today by the way. And on top of that, my skinny black jeans, RM163 was on 50% off! Length as usual, was perfect. Plus, shopping with mommy always means she takes the bills. Hahahaha! Hey, she insisted ok! Thanks mom

I read this late last nite and it really touched my heart. As I wiped the tears away from my eyes, I felt I should blog about it simply because such a beautiful story should be let known to all. Little friend of a lifetime: The heartbreaking friendship between two tiny girls with cancer. *click here for the full story* Hannah and Molly

For some reason, I have been craving a Full English / Irish breakfast since last night.
Fat juicy sausages Baked beans Poached eggs or sunny side up Crispy fattening bacon Lots and lots of grilled button mushrooms! Grilled tomatoes Black pudding
round black thing = black pudding
I have not tasted black pudding before and I thought it sounded interesting. So I googled it up and this is what Black Pudding is.
Black pudding or less often blood pudding is a British English term for sausage made by cooking blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled. It is also called blood sausage.
These are the ingredients needed to make Black Pudding:
1lt Blood (Pig, Lamb or Goose) 340g (12oz) Shredded Suet 300ml Milk 50g (2oz) Oatmeal 3 Medium Onions, chopped 1 tbsp Salt 1/2 tsp Mixed Herbs 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper Pinch Nutmeg
Pig's blood. I like!
So where in KL can I find an extremely large English Breakfast inclusive of Black Pudding? Jarrods Rawlins came to mind but I don't remember being served Black Pudding in my breakfast set the last time. So, suggestions?

I don't sing karaokes. I just don't sing. Period. Eversince I made that declaration outloud, the bf has been trying to get me to sing for as long as I can remember. Below are some of the lines which I remember him using: "We book the whole room at Redbox just to ourselves so you can practice? Want?"
"Ok, I buy a karaoke set so we can sing at home?"
"What songs do you want? I go find the instrumental version."
"Just sing. JUST LET IT OUT!"
So last night, he so suddenly decide that I should sing Wishin' and Hopin' - Ani DiFranco's version (yes the one in My Best Friend's Wedding) but I don't want to. "I want *cough*FromThisMoment*cough*. I said it very quickly and you should see how his eyes gleefully shot right up. "YOU WANT WHAT SONG AGAIN?! *huge grin*""From This Moment la dammit! Fine, I'll sing." So we both found a website which has full versions of instrumental songs PLUS lyrics, which means die, I just can't escape already. 1st song: From This Moment by Shania TwainStruggled like mad at this part: My dreams came true because of you (those who know this song, will know how high the notes are here) 2nd song: Apologize by One RepublicHAHAHA! Like wtf right? But I so ace this song man! Even the bf who is a champion singer (he seriously is. have you seen him in karaoke?!) can't pull this song! Wahahhaha! Trashed him. You tell me that you need me then you go and cut me downnnnnn
3rd song: No One by Alicia Keys
Woohoooo, have to backside itchy la! Know that this a killer song and YET I gatal went ahead and suggested this. But it was damn fun! I was hitting the high notes like so cacat but it was fun! You and me together, through the days and nights. I don't worry cause everything's gonna be alright.
We stopped singing like baboons when the door unlocked and Mr Tay's brother came home. I still shy mar

Bliss is when you have found the perfect pair of black almost-jeans
So, yesterday I bought a very nice pair of almost-jeans in black from Dorothy Perkins. Originally tagged at RM163 and it was on 50% off! As I searched thru the rack, I was praying hard "pls pls pls... let there be my size" coz usually during sales period, only the bigger sizes are left on the racks, like size 12, 14, 16, etc. To make searching easier, hangers in DP are tagged with size numbers and I was crestfallen when there wasn't my size spotted on the hangers. But, I damn 'mm kam yuen' so what did I do? I diligently checked one by one, the size tag on each of the pants hanging on the rack and true enough, I found ONE PAIR of my size! So happy can die!!!!!!!!! I then had a "heaven in the skies opening up with light beaming down on me" moment. The moral of the story is: there is always some sales assistant who will screw up while sorting out apparels according to sizes on the hangers. I like pants from Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Naf Naf and Zara. I think they have the nicest cuts coz since I'm quite tall, I usually don't score well with the local brands as those pants are catered for shorter women I guess. Best of all, I need not alter the length of my pants like how some of my gfs always have to. I have a pair of white almost-jeans from Naf Naf which I love till today and has lasted me almost a good 4 years. Good money invested I am wearing the black almost-jeans today and I have gone to the ladies for about 5 times already... just to swoon over the nice cutting and also to check on the butt which when in these pants, has magically transformed from the size of a hippo to the size of a bowl! Ok, maybe 2 bowls. Hehehe! Cheers to nicely cut pants!
