Grace is in Bangkok now and she sure knows how to tempt me!
Which one do you want, she asked.
 RM20 only she exclaimed!
Black&white please!!! I am going through this black&white phase, I really don't know when I'll stop
Me likey the above black&white dress! Can be worn both casual and to work as well. To work: I might just throw in a grey/black jacket or cardigan or a short-cropped jacket which I have been dying to use, pearl necklace and my kill-my-feet pumps again. Can probably replace the sash with a belt too?
She also bought a Tiffany-colored strapless sundress which comes with a white/cream sash which is so beautiful! Mr Tay, I WANT TO GO TO BANGKOK!!!! *wails*
Meanwhile, I am going crazy over whether I should get this or not. I found a way to purchase stuff from the United States online and have them shipped to Malaysia :)
Angie and Lola Buckle Hobo Bag USD39.99
Got my name you see. It's calling out to me!

Thursday! Friday! Saturday! Sunday! = Holiday :)
All black today. Black sleeveless dress Black stokings Black pumps Black earrings Black pendant Polka dot black&white hairband Black bag Black panty David's birthday is fast approaching. We are not doing a party afterall, doing something else instead Have not gotten him a birthday pressie yet. No idea even. So was chatting with Sue on birthday ideas. She said she wants Curtis Stone to be her bf. I said, I want Curtis Stone to be my bf, and Jamie Oliver as my hubby. She asked why. Well, simple. I love how Jamie always cook for his wife, Julia and daughters, Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo (the fella sure knows how to name his kids, hahaha!) So, I said, I wish David could cook for me too. Sue exclaimed, "But he made Lychee Jellies what!" What the!!! Lychee Jellies is not what cooking would mean ok. I want full course - Soup, Steak, Mash Potatoes, Steamed Veg, Dessert. Is that too much to ask? But no, the boy can't cook to save his own life - except maybe, Mee Maggi Kari Meletup. So she suggested that I get him a Jamie Oliver cookbook as a birthday present. She is so brilliant sometimes I dunno what to say. I was being sarcastic, can you not tell? Hahahaha. So, last weekend, David and I joined Gary+Shanice+Fetus for a movie at Berjaya Times Square. Watched Street Kings starring Keanu Reeves and we think it was crappy la. If it was done by Hong Kong, it would probably be better. Think, Infernal Affairs. Did some shopping there - bought some really cheap belts at RM10 each. Saw a vest which I bought at MyDressRoom, Bangsar retailling at RM25. I paid RM69.90 for the same exact vest in MyDressRoom ok. Very pissed. And bought a whole lot of other stuff la. Went Starbucks for cakes and drinks. Nice. Then, we adjourned to Gary's place for dinner and to catch the horrendous Chelsea vs MU match. Penalty???? On Sunday, we went to The Curve for lunch. Ate at Absolut Thai and had my absolute favorite - Water Chesnut in Coconut Milk also known as Red Rubies for dessert. Each time I eat at a Thai restaurant, I'd order this. Yum! Looking up on the recipe to learn how to make this. Then, I can have this every single day. Muahhahaha! We then, went to check out stuff at the Flea Market. Bought some hairbands! Including the polka dot one. So cute! Have you heard the e-filing ad in the radio? It goes like this...
Damn layan Alicia Key's No One now. Maybe I'll put that as my ringtone next. Currently using: Nicole Scherzinger's Baby Love. We so in love, la la la laaaa... I love my purple+silver eyeshadow today. My new black pumps are killing my feet.

In conjunction to Earth Day 2 days ago, I finally wore my modified Amazon Jungle dress. Wore it with white belt, white thin hairband, pearl necklace, light black stokings and white pumps. Boy, do I look like a Forest Fairy, guarding the Amazon Jungle. Hahhahaha!

Anyways, Sue and I drove out to Damansara Kim for lunch. I can't express how relieved I was eating something different (and nice!) and definitely cheaper for lunch after so so long. Initially, I told Sue that I was having cravings for a Claypot Yee Mee, which coincidently is my all-time favorite.
Instead, I ended up ordering:
Hakka Mee (dry version) - RM3.80 Soya Cincau - RM1.80
Total = RM 5.60
RM5.60 for a meal!! I felt compelled to express my shockness and ignorance at how I was donating so much money to the restaurants at One Utama, so I told Sue, "My meal, RM5.60. I can have at least 3 meals of this for a single meal at One Utama." And then, my mind automatically worked its math and let's just say by the end of it, it ain't a pleasant feeling. I could have been a millionaire by just not splurging on lunches at One Utama. Ok, 'millionaire' is being a tad dramatic. But you know what I mean! And and and... it's not like the food at One U is great! After awhile, you just get bored! Each time David comes to pick me up from work, and when he suggests One Utama for dinner, I'll let out a HUMONGOUS groan. I can't for the life of me, stomach both lunch and dinner from One Utama on one single day. It is really that depressing!
So, we made some alterations to our lunch plans. We plan to drive out once a week to have cheap and good food outside, around areas probably like Damansara Kim or Uptown. So, it's just Shopping Mall Food for 4 days in a week. Yippee!
Ok, I can't wait for the weekend to come. Bf and I plan to go on a movie with Gary+Shanice+Fetus. Yes, she's pregnant! Can't wait to see her bump And then, we're paying Ozzy The Puppy a visit! I missed her so much and according to Alex, she has been growing longer and longer by the day. Sigh, Ozzy please don't grow up so fast. I like you tiny and small!
Last night, the bf and I had a long chat. It was 10pm and he was lying on the bed. I was scurrying around, applying body lotion, moisturizer, hair protein, etc and we were just chatting away. We usually don't sleep that early but he was feeling tired (after having to do 3 PC fairs over the weekends!) so ok, I decided to sleep early for once too. But, we just chatted and chatted away and before you know it, it was already 12.05am. By then, we decided to turn in and this was what he said at the end of the 2 hours chat.
"I can't believe I wasted 2 hours talking to you. I could've slept an extra 2 hours!"
So naughty! After much whacking from me, we both went to sleep. That's David Tay for you, the ever-romantic boy who says the most wonderful things to end a beautifully spent evening together.

We love the new Facebook chat!

The National Finals Rodeo
Have you started trying for the National Final Rodeo tickets?
What is a Rodeo? A rodeo is a sport event which its origin is attributed to the practice of cattle hearding in spain, Mexico, US, Canada, Australia, etc. It is an event where Cowboys take part in many time judged events involving cattle and horses. It is designed in such a way that the skill, speed and ability of the cowboys and cowgals are tested. This is the official sport of Wyoming and Texas.
NFR The National Finals Rodeo, organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. Wrangler Jeans is the title sponsor for the 10-day event, commonly just called the National Finals or NFR, which is also sometimes referred to as the World Series of Rodeo and the Super Bowl of Rodeo. The NFR is held each year in the first full week of December, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
History The NFR came to Las Vegas (it was previously in Oklahoma.) in 1985 and since then this sport is an integral part of the city. In 2007 NFR have got an official song, the "Cowboy Town," recorded by superstar duo Brooks and Dunn. The hero of 2007 was Trevor Brazile, PRCA's triple crown champion.(he was a champion in 2004 and 2006.
I have not been to a rodeo event before but this certainly sounds interesting, isn't it? But, if you're living in the United States now, be sure to catch this!

I have been meaning to write this. I joined PayPerPost sometime in the middle of last year and it has been a great program which I still follow to this very day. When you love to write and own a blog, isn't it just fantastic that you can get to do all these and at the same time, GET PAID as well?
The idea is pretty simple actually. If you have a blog, and you update frequently, join the PayPerPost program and get paid by writing sponsored posts. You can choose what you want to write about so that the content fits in nicely with the theme of your blog. And in just about a couple of days (sometimes as soon as you submit the post) your posts get approved, and you will get paid!
Plus, you get to learn new things and discover new websites that you never knew before. This is because, to write a sponsored post, you need to get to the given website link, do a little research on it and basically, just write or promote the website. Thus, making payperpost a really great opportunity.
Besides, I love online shopping and what other great way than making extra cash via PayPerPost! Start earning your side income today.

So many movies, so little time
Tonite, Sue, Corinne and I are watching Definitely, Maybe (again, for me that is) Heeeee...
Today, Sue and I went to Uptown for lunch and... DVD-hunting!
We have planned to do a Romantic Comedy Movie Marathon Weekend. Only chick flicks allowed or rather, love-themed movies. Topped with homemade pasta meal with lots of junk food and *hic* booze. I figure we could do Mr Tay's huge alcohol collection a little favor by doing a little consumption. They have been sitting in the kitchen pantry for farrrrrrrrr too long
Initial DVDs wanted:
Gone Baby Gone P.S. I Love You La vie en rose The Holiday Paris Je'taime 27 Dresses Feast of Love Only You The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (i really wanted this!)
But they only have these - buy 5 free 1:
No Reservations 27 Dresses In Her Shoes Feast of Love (thanks PF babe for the recommendation) Gone Baby Gone The Holiday
(and many more - will check from Mr Tay's HUGE DVD collection)
Well, technically, Gone Baby Gone isn't a boy-girl romantic movie, but I've heard raving reviews about it, so, grabbed it!
This is Sue taken from her recent Cambodia trip.
Nice cap right! We got it from a little shop in One Utama.
These are nice pics, girl
Single guys who want her contacts, let me know. I'm officially her dating agent. I get commissions for every approved guy. Hahhaha! Kidding!

Ok, this is not Sue. It's just a look I like so much of Lauren Conrad. Black nails, casual scrunched up hair, necklace, loose white top, skinny jeans and a nice casual bag.

So last night Grace, Joanne and I caught Definitely, Maybe at the cinema. We loved it :) Extremely heartwarming, witty lines, fantastic casts (maybe except for the role of Emily, she's a bit dull in my opinion). You have just gotta love Ryan Reynolds - tall and handsome and bloody witty as hell. The girls weren't bad too, with Summer and April, both extremely intelligent women, both fell in love with Ryan a.k.a Will Hayes, who aspires to be the next U.S. President.

My favorite girl has got to be April played by Isla Fisher, who coincidently has been casted to play Rebecca Bloomwood from the Shopaholic series. Excited?! I AM!!! Now, I just got to find out who's playing Luke Brandon. My perfect choice would be Michael Vartan (Sidney Bristow's bf in ALIAS)
And and and! They were showing previews of Sex and The City already!!! I CAN'T WAIT. Ahhhh.. Carrie Bradshaw's wedding gown, very pretty.
Gosh, see how I went from Definitely, Maybe to probable casts of the Shopaholic series and to Sex and The City? Very excited, I am.
Anyways, as I was saying I love April. And then you have Maya, Will Hayes' daughter played by the evercute Abigail Breslin. She's FANTASTIC. I couldn't help but gushed like a million times outloud, "I love her!" throughout the entire movie. I hope my future daughter will be as witty, naughty, and smart as her. AND COINCIDENTLY, 1 year ago, I told mr tay that I would like to name my future daughter, Maia (also pronounced as Maya). Got the name from The 4400 (those who followed this series would know who Maia was )
Ok, got side-tracked to naming babies now. Anyway, it was an extremely heartwarming movie. I wouldn't mind catching it at the cinemas again. I'm not going to do spoilers here but I just wanna say that I love the entire process of how Will Hayes' and April got together. Makes me wish I had that kinda relationship, like maybe once in my lifetime. Oh well...
Go catch Definitely, Maybe. Good laughs, sexy lines, extremely briliant scriptwriter and Maya! There's also Rachel Weisz, who is flat out fun, sexy and charismatic and then you also have Kevin Klein who was brilliant as a uni professor who sleeps with sophomores. Jomel, please go watch it. I know you'd love it coz I know what a hopeless romantic you are :)
Sorry, I'm just not that good at doing movie reviews ok. I get extremely excited and I just type whatever that comes to mind. So, pardon the very 'professional flair' in this movie review post.
Favorite quote from the movie:
The happy ending was... you.

I got a pile of dresses from my cousin lately. Quite vintage they are, coz the cousin prolly has kept them for like over 10 years. The patterns are with flowers! Which is something I usually shy away from and the cutting, omg, put me off the moment I saw them. There are sleeveless, LONG, as in touching way past the knee-length and to make it worse, they flare at the bottom. So, I wasn't too keen to keep them.
Suddenly, I had a sudden lightbulb moment. My mom and I sent them over to the tailor to have them shorten and hey, now they looked damn cute. There are 4 of them, which 3 are splattered all over with flower motifs - 1 dark blue which, I am wearing today, 1 dark-based with bright blue flowers and 1 dark-based color with GREEN flowers all over them. I call the last dress my Amazon dress, as in Amazon Jungle? Hahaha. The moment I tried on the before-altered green dress, I stood infront of my mom and exclaimed, "Mi! I am a forest!" Hahahaha!
But, thank gawd, after alterations, they look mighty cute. Today's dress worn over light black stockings with a red belt and a pearl necklace. Sorry, photo quality is quite bad as they were taken from my phone.
I guess, these flowered dresses ain't that bad, afterall, it's SPRING/SUMMER now! They came right on time, I'd say
