Sick Girl Rambles On

The weather outside is beautiful. I have a great desire to go shopping right now. And I mean, GREAT. What else can a sick girl do to cheer herself up right? New heels, new bags, new tops, new skirts, new lipsticks, etc. The heart so wants to go for it. Satiate that pounding need for retail therapy. But the mind says, "It would be very unwise my child. You are stepping on dangerous grounds here. I.e. Impulse buying."

Oh well. Looking forward to be able to walk normally sans pain and panting in order to marathon shop this weekend!

Anyway, issue with Airasia is settled. Airport tax - refunded. Airfare - nope. But is carried forward to our next trip. Within the next 3 months though. We're thinking of Koh Samui. But how do you go to Koh Samui via Airasia anyway?

LadyLuthien texted me just now giving me tips on how to survive with bread. Creative eating with bread. "Try toasting them instead of eating fresh. Add a bit of jam too if you can." Thanks Aunty Chan! Tongue Anne called me just now asking me what would I most want to eat when I have my appetite back. Come to think of it, I really dunno. Chili's burgers used to be very satisfying. Rum & Raisin ice cream used to be lip-smacking. Even tequila shots with lime used to be so much fun. Just thinking of them now just makes my tummy churn in horror!

You know I really oughta shower now. Been procrastinating it since morning. Urgh.

Sick Girl urghs

*gasp gasp gasp* *pant pant pant*

Feel like a blardy old lady man. Airasia said in order to not burn the RM650, I must get a letter from the doctor who treated me yesterday stating that I am unfit to fly. Which I did just now.

Walking to the clinic which is just downstairs and getting back was exhaustive enough. Taking the fax machine out of the box and assembling it was another uphill task. Feel so weak. And useless. And feel bad too.

Sick Girl = No Cambodia says:
i feel not only frustrated coz cannot go, but feel bad also

Sick Girl = No Cambodia says:
me so troublesome hor

d a v i d i a n i s m says:
yalor...

See, even Mr Tay said, "yalor..."

Misery Loves Company

Oh gawd. The immense silence in this house is killing me. All I hear now is the tapping of the keyboard *tak tak tak*

Thought I'd clean up Mr Tay's home up a bit but the body is weak. Can't stand up for long. I shall attempt again later.

Been sleeping a lot. Must be those pills *yawnnnn* Still no appetite. I have to struggle each time I take those pills - "3 Kali Sehari Selepas Makan". What the helllll.... 3 times of forcing myself to eat! The thought of bread makes my tummy churn. The thought of porridge/rice, let's not even go there. Then I found out that oats isn't so bad afterall. So it's oats for morning, afternoon and probably night too. This has gotta be worse than prison food.

So at Mr Tay's we ran out of oats, as I realized just now. So I am forced to down Honeystar + Milk. If you recall one of my previous entry, I have developed lactose intolerance. Which explains, why my tummy feels funny now.

More trips to the loo and after that, some telly watching.

Sick Girl = No Cambodia

Today I feel like doing a marathon-blog. What can a sick person do at home besides sleep and pop pills right? So bored that I'm thinking of posting a blog every 2 3 hours.

Thought diarrhea and vomitting were horrible enough. And wham! Fever thought it would be fun to join in as well. Darn the weakened immune system.

No more Cambodia for the weekend Sad  See little cute train up there? Just.one.more.blardy.day. Sigh. Feel so... what's the word? Frustrated.

Be back later while I go pop some really nasty pills.

Wednesday

:( Part II

Hi all,

I puked yet another time! This time it was worse than the first. It was beyond my control. At least while puking the first time, I could still hold it in. Yes yes, I have phobia in vomitting since young. That was why I could count the number of times I've puked in my entire life.

Appetite gone. The thought of rice, Chinese dishes, etc makes me wanna puke now :(

How to go Cambodia to climb temples now? :(

So cry

Sunday

Input-output. Pitch black

Early this morning at about 4-ish, I woke up in a cold sweat.

Tummy wasn't feeling alright the whole night and being the girl with a high threshold for pain, I just couldn't be bothered getting up and fuss over it. So I slept on with hopes that the pain would just go away.

However, true enough when they say 'even the most patient person has his limits.' Even the most stubborn girl has to eventually give in to the unbearable pain in her stomach.

So I had the craziest diarrhea ever. Picture this: Me. Sitting in the toilet for the longest time, bending down with both arms hugging my knees. All these, while the tummy decided to go rock 'n' roll for more than 2 hours.

I honestly think it was 2 hours because as I came out of the loo, it was almost dawn. That wasn't the worst part yet! As I made my way to the room, I couldn't see anything! Mom was in the kitchen, daddy was walking around the house while I was playing blind girl, panicking, trying to find my way whilst thinking fast, "What is going on? Why can't I see anything?! And why does my body feel as though it is gonna collapse?!! Yes, I was at my parents' place.

Then I decided not to walk. I stopped and held on to the sides of the wall, trying my best not to faint. Dad came and exclaimed, "What's wrong with you? Why is your face so pale?!"

"I can't seeeeee. Stomachacheeeee. I need to lie down."

And with that, I lied down on the floor. All curled up in a ball. While daddy was circling around me, mumbling things which I wasn't paying attention to. Something like, ".... sleep on the floor... on bed... sleep..." Then mommy came along and yeah... fussed around me.

Then we had a phone call from my cousin. He struck RM57,000 from lottery. First prize for the number 1373 it seemed. So it was another family-relative makan time. Dimsum breakfast to be exact. Normally dimsum gets me all hyped up. This time around, I was moaning to my mom, "Can I not goooooooooo?"

Mom forced me to go! Can you believe it! Where got mothers force their sick daughters to go out, you tell me? Tongue But I went anyway, coz I realized just happy my parents would be each time I participate in those family-relative getogether thingies. All the way to the dimsum haven, I was clinging onto my brother for dear life Tongue

So yada yada yada, it's me feeling all better now. Blogging about my near-death experience Tongue Heh... yea yea, being kinda dramatic here but hey, how often do you experience black-outs for more than 10 secs? While staying conscious mind you!
