yet another early morning
we were both so worn out and tired from the past 2 days of activities that i actually had secretly hoped the guide would somehow forgot to come pick us up, and then we can complain and demand for refund. hahahahhaha.... very nasty, me.
but of course that didn't happen. the pick-up van came as sharp as 8.30am. day 4's itinerary looked pretty simple and less tiring:
- Hot Spring
- Emerald Pool
- Elephant Trekking
see! day 4's activities were just about splashing water around and be taken around like a queen on A Huge Mammal.

in the pick-up van on the way to the first destination
: Hot Spring :

40-42 degree celcius! don't play play!
but apparently good for health

easy does it...
i had to dip myself in carefully, little by little, as there were lots of rocks around plus, the water was pretty hot!
the trick was to actually, just soak in and within 30 secs your body sort of acclimatize to the surrounding temperature.

roasting ourselves silly

human BBQ roasting pit
: Emerald Pool :

jungle trekking at the National Park begins here
be prepared for a looonggggg walk

omg, it was a looooongggggg walk before reaching this.

see the emerald green pool, not the boy.
why garang face, baby?

all smiley again

but of course, i had to sibuk and get into the picture

this is where the actual EMERALD POOL is
it is naturally emerald green and not man-made k
so the guide dumped us all here to have a swim for like 40 min

: Elephant Trekking!!! :
*squels*

they were all quite busuk actually, same as phuket elephants, haha
ok. all elephants are smelly.

getting on Wat-na the Elephant
must always know the name of your elephant
and sex. Wat-na's a betina

from this view, we could actually see the front elephants do the following:
- shit (HUMONGOUS shit!)
- pee (2 huge buckets!)
- trample down all the smaller trees
- tear down banana trees (they LOVE banana trees! especially the soft young shoots inside)

boy eh you think their feet hurt when they step on the stones?
girl how do i know la! you go ask them
boy those guys should make shoes for them
the boy said it. not me k.

the boy said to look up but it was super glaring

helloooo

the Maharaja & Queen

after the ride, we got to buy bananas to feed them! at only 40 baht per basket, we bought 2 baskets - 1 for mr tay and 1 for myself *happy*!

mr tay feeding greedy Wat-na, who kept wanting more and more
i fed her too and got her saliva wetting all over my fingers
it felt very geli actually

good girl, Wat-na
can you see her smiling? i swear she was smiling when i touched her

she's still smiling!

not so smiley. so Wat-na preferred me! wahahhaha!
girl i think i wanna rear an elephant la
boy everything also you want to rear. the last time we watched The March of the Penguins, you said you wanna rear a penguin. then, you saw this documentary on pandas and sure enough, you wanted to rear a panda. what else? also, forever want to rear dogs. somemore? piglet. i remember you said you wanted to rear a piglet. go build a zoo la.
girl shaddup. you forgot dolphins.
: Dinner :
