So, the whole night was spent at Anna's birthday party and then hopped over to Flam's to join JC and the rest of the IBMers.
And reached home at 4.30am? I think.
Was supposed to wake up at 6am so, with just a mere 1 hour and 30 min to go, I said, "Screw the sleep, just stone along."
<--- sendiri stoning in the room.
So, I kept myself entertained for awhile, and with just 45 min left to go till 6am, I dozed off with the lights on - half body on the floor and the head rested on the bed.
Classic.
Then the phone rang at 6.16am.
Jeck-Jeck (as in The Incredibles, Jack Jack!): Hey, are you awake yet?
Me: Of course, I didn't sleep the whole night *grumble grumble*
Jeck-Jeck: I'm outside your house now. Downstairs. Come down ya.
Me: *with a sad sad voice* o....k...
but give me time to pack.
*Jeck-Jeck = the boy formerly known as Annoying Boy in the gym, but now we friend-friend already. Discovered he's not that annoying actually, very helpful in fact
Was yawning all the way to Bukit Jalil.
Dozed off a bit in the car while Jeck-Jeck blasted some very merry tuk-tuktuk-chang Chinese New Year songs.
Adui. Can pengsan.
Reached there, and was greeted by Kris, "Hello auntie! Still sleeping! Wake up wake up!"
Gave him The Stare.
Oh, you must be wondering what the hell were we doing at Bkt Jalil at that ungodly hour right?
We cycled.
Not your BMX bicycles that you rode when you were 7 yrs old ok?
These were bikes with wheels as thin as the width of your thumb.
Think, Lance Armstrong's bike
Our track path: Bkt Jalil ---> Puchong ---> Subang ---> Back to Bkt Jalil. 20KM
OMG. Can die.
Because, the track was actually really unsafe.
We had to ride on the motorcycle lanes and the motorcyclists were just zooming past us within that narrow lane!
And and, there were TUNNELS
Not Penchala Link tunnel but small kuchi-rat tunnels for motorcyclists and not lighted up at all, so it was quite hard to see.
And to add to it all, the bikes were actually quite difficult to control.
Every 20 seconds or so, I kept picturing myself crashing by the roadside and I will never get to see Mr Tay ever again.
BUT I DID NOT CRASH AT ALL
Jeck-Jeck was nice enough to follow closely behind me and not zoomed away like the rest of them!
Kris: "Auntie, come on, faster faster! You, in RPM class like damn terror, speed like mad, now what happened? Go drink like a fish somemore la, you drunkard woman you."
This, coming from my RPM instructor. Tsk tsk.
Mad people after the 2 hour ride.

jeck-jeck, adeline, uncle patrick (he has 7 bikes!), forgot the name, UNCLE kris, alvin (who has this bike shop, joo ngan in Damansara Utama)

my ride for that day, jeck-jeck's

UNCLE kris' firm solid butt

12 starving people in DU, brunch
Brunch was at this FANTASTIC nasi lemak shop.
And it's not your usual nasi lemak. You have to go there to find out yourself
Forgot the name though, something Village, next to Joo Ngan bicycle shop in Damansara Utama. It is so famous, it's featured in a local food programme.
Then, we hopped over to Joo Ngan to check out the bikes, accessories and whatnot.
Saw a pink bike that I like.
40 min there, I made a feeble attempt in excusing myself.
Me: Me sleepy, didn't sleep the whole night la
Horrible ppl: Sleepy, can sleep here! Got sofa!
Me: Ok, but I badly need a showerrrrr.
Horrible ppl all at one go: THERE! GOT BATHROOM HERE!
Kris: What excuse you want to give now???
Dragged jeck-jeck as my ammo, "jeck-jeck has to go genting after this la!"
So, got home at 12.10pm, had a long shower and collapsed on the bed and slept till 6.30pm.
The Saddist Me, loves how the whole body is aching now.
And I got slightly darker! I like!
The next trip, biking trip to Genting!
