Season to be Jolly (and sick)
This has got to be the gazillionth time of me loading up the "Create An Entry" page in this past couple of weeks.
And with each successful load-up, I procrastinate while nonchalantly and happily clicking away to check on friend's blogs. Only to discover... *gasp!*... that they have been as lazy and uninspired as me! (Not all but MOST of you!) How could this be?! You people are supposed to entertain and fill me up with all your wiittiest, corniest, saddest, funniest, stupidest and lamest stories. Your blogs are part of the reason why when asked, "What would be the one thing you'd like to bring to a stranded island with you, if you could choose one?" And I'd go, "My laptop with promise of good stable wi-fi connection at the island so that everyday, I can read all of my friends' wonderful blogs."
Yeah right.
8th day into Chinese New Year now. Went back to Ipoh for a couple of days and got back in KL with a sorethroat, cough and nasty nasty flu. But it's ok, I keep telling myself. Everyone around me are either burning up with fever, coughing their lungs out or sneezing their brains out, so what the heck, let's join in the 'fun' I'd say!
Back in Ipoh:
- Discovered my cousin just gave birth to Baby Eunice.
- Played with my favorite 4-year-old cousin Jaime, who was still very naughty and getting prettier by the day. Last year, she was still googoo-gaagaaing all over the place. This year, she could read her Enid Blyton books. Didn't believe my aunt when she said Jaime could read now (Come on, she's 2 years away from kindergarten!) but when little Jaime sat on my lap with "The Flyaway Cottage", she was reading music into my ears.
- Witnessed for the very first time... my mi getting high on red wine.
- y2K is still alive. Timezone sorta closed down.
- HOT. And I don't mean hot as in Angelina Jolie hot. But HOT as in hot-till-you-melt HOT.
Thought a lot about my grandparents while in the car on the way back to KL. Was conceptualizing around the idea on how my aunties and uncles including my parents could all chip in some cash to buy my grandparents a small but decent place to live in KL. It'd be nice to drop by and visit them whenever I want to. Told my mi about it, she said "Not as easy as you think it is. Your aunties and uncles, although doing very well, can be quite stingy and reluctant when it comes to money." What the hell.
I mean, they are YOUR parents. They only get to be your parents for once in this lifetime. And they have what, how many years more left in this world? Don't you want to spend more time with them? Like driving back to Ipoh once a year, staying a couple of days there make hell lot of difference?! They are my grandparents which I do not get to see as often as I'd like to, and I'd like to change that. If only I have the means. Maybe I should opt for my grandparents instead of my laptop with wi-fi so that I could read your blogs in that stranded island?
Anyways, it's back to work again tomorrow people. I hope this year rawks.

1 - First Thug at Heart 2 - Back from Bali 3 - Paranoid Girl 4 - Girl Got Her Senses Back
Can understand from graph? Can la right...
See the black Black Graph with 20%? That one, hmmm, no good. Noooo good. Girl got paranoid and thought Boy didn't care or love her as much as Graph 2 with 80%. So Girl showed "muka busuk" (as described by Boy) for the last couple of days. Boy got pretty pissed off too but was soon tamed down by Girl's very powerful weapon: Her cuteness! Hahaha!
Girl would like to note that it is not because of the Nokia 6111 which Boy got her, that got her feeling over the moon now. It's more of the happy feeling that Boy actually cared and really put effort into making sure that Girl doesn't feel as lousy as described in Urgh, Urgh - Part II and Urgh - Part III. NO MORE URGH! DEFINITELY NO URGH - PART IV! Girl loved the lil' note Boy wrote. So loving it that she is contemplating of laminating it to show her grandchildren one day. LOL!
See see Girl's graph!
-
Pink = something new and fresh
-
Purple = since it's Girl's fav color, so everything is beautiful at this stage
-
Black = muka busuk, sulky face, pout pout pout
-
Black turning purple = EVERYTHING IS BECOMING NICER AND ROSIER ONCE MORE!
Girl: I love my phone! Boy: What else do you love? Girl: YOU!
Boy + Girl: Bwahahahhahahahahaaa!
******
Urgh, Urgh Part II, Urgh Part III are entries found at my other secret blog. Yes, I have another blogspace

Favorite Song at the mo' - Part II
Lifehouse * Blind
I was young but I wasn't naive I watched helpless As you turned around to leave And still I have the pain I have to carry A past so deep That even you could not bury if you tried
After all this time I never thought we'd be here never thought we'd be here when my love for you was blind But I couldn't make you see it Couldn't make you see it That I loved you more Than you'll ever know And part of me died When I let you go
I would fall asleep Only in hopes of dreaming That everything Would be like it was before But nights like this It seems are slowly fleeting They disappear as reality is crashing to the floor
After all this time I never thought we'd be here never thought we'd be here when my love for you was blind But I couldn't make you see it Couldn't make you see it That I loved you more Than you'll ever know And part of me died When I let you go
After all this why Would you ever wanna leave Maybe you could not believe it That my love for you was blind But I couldn't make you see it Couldn't make you see it That I loved you more Than you will ever know And part of me died When I let you go That I loved you more Than you will ever know And part of me died When I let you go

Favorite Song at the mo' - Part I
No inspiration to blog lately. So I'll leave you all with these 2 songs I currently love so so so so much.
Nickelback * Far Away
This time, This place Misused, Mistakes Too long, Too late Who was I to make you wait Just one chance Just one breath Just in case there's just one left 'Cause you know, you know, you know
[CHORUS] That I love you I have loved you all along And I miss you Been far away for far too long I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
On my knees, I'll ask Last chance for one last dance 'Cause with you, I'd withstand All of hell to hold your hand I'd give it all I'd give for us Give anything but I won't give up 'Cause you know, you know, you know
[CHORUS] So far away Been far away for far too long So far away Been far away for far too long But you know, you know, you know
I wanted I wanted you to stay 'Cause I needed I need to hear you say That I love you I have loved you all along And I forgive you For being away for far too long So keep breathing 'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore Believe it Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing Hold on to me and, never let me go (3x)

To those whom I usually chat with would know how cold my office can be. And sometimes, you will find me on MSN and Yahoo! with this status message - "I work in a freezer"
Ok, straight to the point. I guess I wailed too much about how cold office was and someone from work actually bought me a sweater today! Brown color! How sweet of him.
Ahhhhhh... the perks of being a Female.

Lady Luthien: "One of God's arrangements is that after winter there should come beautiful spring days. It happens every year and it happens in every life."
Thanks to Lady Luthien: Sarah Brightman * Heaven is Here
Good times and bad times There's nothing I'll forget Sun shines on our lifelines There's noting I'll regret
Hold me and feel me And wrap your arms around Coz when you love me I'm quite clear That heaven is here
Hear my confession We're meant to be as one Leave me to the mystery Of happiness to come
Touch me I'll give you My blessing and desire Coz when you feel eternal fire Then heaven is here
Bad times and street crimes No matter where you go Some secrets preach and some fools teach They're giving us some show
So send me an angel And wrap your arms around Coz when it all comes down you'll know That heaven is here

How did I spend my Sunday (yesterday):
- Cleaned, swept, mopped and painted someone's place.
- Lazed around.
- Ordered Canadian Pizza One-for-One promo. So we had TWO different flavored pizzas for the price of one :) Don't try the lasagna, it's horrible.
- Did a Martha Stewart marathon.
Yes, we finished the entire season of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. Not happy with the results. Wanted so much for either Jim or Bethenny to win. Jim - eccentric, crazy, risk-taker and a work-for-it person. Bethenny - creative, outspoken, manic (as described by people), go-all-out person. I love her! Instead click: she won. Dawna is calm, safe, boring. I guess given her age, Martha Stewart wouldn't be able to handle loud and crazy people with astoundingly creative ideas. So she'd rather play safe with an apprentice like Dawna.
I would looove to work for Martha. Not so much for the salary, but of course that's a bonus. But more of the job scopes. Love how she diversifies herself in various businesses, like Martha Stewart Weddings, Martha Stewart Living (my fav), Martha Stewart Flowers, Kids and really fun to work on, body + soul magazine, where lucky Dawna gets to work on.
Yes yes, dreaming on.

As I read Perfectly Flawed's entry with much interest, I couldn't help but think that, yeaaa I too can't wait for the baby's arrival. Will it be a boy? Or a girl? How about twins, I asked Perfectly Flawed once. We both agreed that it would be great, a boy-girl twins! It's like once upon a time, Brad had no child. And then one day, the Wicked Witch tore him and Jennifer apart and placed him with a new woman with two ermmm... colorful kids and suddenly, wham, he now has 2 (+1 or +2) kids to fuss over. Coolness.
How is Jennifer feeling at the moment, I wonder. "My divorced hubby of just one year now has 1 very gorgeous girlfriend, 2 colorful children - 1 gorgeous Maddox and 1 very big-eyed Zahara and another one on the way!" "And I.. I just did so many movies which might turn out to be crappy." "Found new entertainment in Vince Vaughn too. Man he is so huge, he can squash me to death if he's not too careful."
Then, I had this ingenius idea.
Movie of the Year: (potentially able to surpass King Kong and Narnia) Dangerous Liasons 2. Star-studded cast: Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston (gasp!), Gwyneth Palthrow (gasp! gasp!), Brad Pitt (gasp! gasp! gasp!), Jennifer Lopez (what!) and Ben Affleck (muahahaha!)
See the possible-feud linkages? Note: What is Ben doing there? Ben = Gwyneth's and J. Lo's ex. Gwen = Brad's and Ben's ex.
Imagine me being able to coax all of them to star in this movie. And me being the Director and Scripwriter.
Muahahahaha. I'm eeeeviiiil. But hey, if you look at it, I am actually presenting the world a helluva entertainment. No?
