we reached Ao Nang, Krabi at about 2+pm, checked into the hotel, unpacked and off we went searching for food. it was like adjusting my tastebuds back to the similar kinda food which we had back at phuket a couple of months ago ---> lots of pad thais, cheap thai pancakes & beer. i likey
krabi has many different towns. but through thorough research done by yours truly (ahem), Ao Nang is definitely the best place to stay, party and shop. do not even bother staying at Krabi Town, coz it's just right smack in the middle of the city with absolutely not a single beach in sight. the other towns are like Koh Railay (don't bother too, coz it's just a very quiet island unless you wanna do rock climbing), Koh Lanta (need a boat ride to get there, boring as well), Koh Phi Phi (highly recommended coz we been there the last time, lovely lovely place!), and etc.
the streets of ao nang, krabi
waiting for my pad thai in bali - it's bintang in thailand - it's chang
i was hungry la ok
our must-have fix. thai pancakes. i remembered we walloped quite a number of these the last time at phuket/phiphi.
mr tay coming with two pancakes
banana + chocolate and mango + honey
yummy!
: i love taking pics of colorful stuff :
ok, this dog caught my attention it was laying outside a manipedi salon and it has its nails all pedicured!
they even did up his eyebrows!
animal cruelty
it was raining all of a sudden and the bf and i had to run under the rain and look for shelter. ended up sitting infront of a closed shop and i spotted these gorgeous colorful balloons above this pink Hello Kitty scooter!
waiting for the rain to stop. clearly, mr tay wasn't too pleased having this pic taken
dinner at the hotel
we asked the locals where are the good clubs and were directed to Luna Bar
our door drink
ok, i am putting up 3 videos which we took. this was the closest view and the most spectacular view we had ever gotten, watching fireworks get blasted just a couple of metres from us. the fireworks were all set on the beach and by 11++, they were blasting fireworks non stop!
everything was on freestyle mode, with no one creating stupid barricades and asking you to stand behind the line that kinda bullshit. if you get hit by the fireworks, you get hit by them. i love freestyle
i love the 2nd blast! a gorgeous blue-ish eruption of sparklers. there were a total of more than 8 blasts, i think. all blasted directly above us :)
at the middle part towards the end of the video, you can see how crazy everyone went with their free handheld sparklers!
this is nice :) lanterns of hope and wishes released into the skies towards the later part of the nite, the skies were filled with hundreds of these lanterns! simply gorgeous
firedancers!
my pics on the first day of my every trip are usually boring pics for day 2 - 5 coming up!
this was taken on day 4. by then, my nose was already red and shiny from too much sun. mr tay has been calling me Rudolph on day 2 and by day 3 i was known as Shiny.
he'd go, "Hi Shiny! pass me the remote. Hi Shiny! good night!"
we're leaving to krabi tomorrow. it's 9.56pm now and i have not packed yet! so anyways, Crabbie wrote about me being a Nice But Gross Girl, here. got gambar also. thanks for trying to cheer me up and i still want more 'suet yu' in the future :) Crabbie aka Chew Soon, i just saw your biography written on your company's website! very impressive! i'm so proud to have befriended you since 1998! hahaha! his impressive bio can be read here.
wishing all an advance Happy 2008! and i know for a fact that it's gonna be a smashing good year. trust me, i know.
BECAUSE I AM GOING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
*Happy Holidays to each and everyone of you and Merry Christmas!*
the first posting was his, of course. got music somemore. i don't think i'll be using this new site anytime soon. the overall design obviously needs to be revamped.
anyways, christmas eve dinner at Marriot, Putrajaya.
our camera is crappy for night shots, but he wanted to try it out anyway. experimental konon.
it was a lovely morning and dinner wedding reception for Siu & Tina. mr tay took quite a number of pics although he wasn't the designated wedding photographer
here are just some of it:
we had about 3 tolls (chi-mui angpau collection la). first was the front gate, second was at the dining area and lastly, the bride's bedroom. Isabelle The Flowergirl was a hardcore "toll collecter". she just wouldn't let the guys in! so ok, we just let her do the talking, hahaha! she has GREAT potential to be a future chi-mui.
"nooooo, no angpau also? no angpau no come in!" cried Isabelle when no angpaus appear below the door.
"noooo, cannot hear, sing louder!" Isabelle exclaimed when Siu did not sing loud enough.
Siu & Tina
i love this shot!
Tina loved it as well and plans to frame it up. all courtesy of mr tay. told you he takes wonderful shots.
OMG, this is one of the cutest babies i've seen this year. hahahaha his shirt says, "Will Work For Milk" at the back says, "Milk Milk Please"
Little Isaac, Siu's nephew is a great ball of energy! he runs around non-stop and is a super-friendly baby boy :)
Isaac giving Tina a kiss... awwwww
received an angpau from Tina, and guess what he did next? he pointed towards Siu's stack of angpaus. smart boy!
haha, this is a deceptive pic. mr tay looked as if he was looking into Tina's cleavage but actually he wasn't la. they were discussing something while i waited for this opportunity and SNAPPED away!
mr tay's idea. not mine
: night reception at Holiday Inn, Shah Alam :
oh this was really nice! Siu composed a song called "Me and Tina Wee"
it's all about meeeee me and tina weeeee
hahaha so cute! it rhymes and the song was really sweet
Siu also sang one of my all time favorite songs, "Till There Was You" by The Beatles.
this is my favorite version by Paul McCartney during The Space Between Us concert (the one i watched with daddy at home)
the bf was so cute last night. he was singing this non-stop. "i'mmm dreaming of a whiteeee christmas"
(mumble mumble in between coz he doesnt know the lyrics)
"and may all your christmases be whiteeee!"
he's in a more chrismassy mood than me. so utterly devastingly cute.
we went to one of his uncle's house yesterday for lunch. one of his cousins, terrorized me with, "OK, so who are you?" i immediately sent a swift glance at the bf, and he answered on my behalf, "SHE. is my gf, angie." phew. i mean, takkan i go tell her, "i am your cousin, david's gf." like so thick skin right???
met the bf's Ah Mah and Ah Kung, for the very first time. they are both very fit senior citizen! noticed the Ah Mah can walk really fast, one minute she was at the living hall, and the next, she's at the dining table eating fish!
his uncle gave me a WHOLE box of Ferrero chocolates. why is everyone giving me chocolates all the time????? hehe, but thank you. them little gold balls are too cute to resist.
so many cousins there yesterday. and none of them called me 'auntie'. very very GLAD.
one of my most important New Year resolutions next year is to save up really hard. so, last night, the bf helped me with something and made it all much easier to start saving come 2008. bugged him with, "thank youuu! i am soooo grateful!" for like 1 million times the whole of last night. while he sang to White Christmas of course.
tomorrow is the Tong Yuen festival! i love tong yuen, especially the ones with gula melaka in them. and they have to have more than 3 colors! usually, i take them in green, orange, yellow, pink and white. gorgeous little bowl of mini treats :)
i'm the Bridesmaid for Tina's wedding this Sunday. wearing a Blue dress in the morning and Turquoise Green for night. hope everything will turn out alright on Sunday! :)
have you seen shops that use Malay names as brandnames? like, i've seen these so far:
so lately, in One Utama, they have a futsal court and guess what is the name?
-
-
Padang.
hahahahahahahahahaah! so cute sial.
so, i told mr tay. one of the many many shops that i've always imagined having, is the kind of shop that sells all types of paper, deco for home made out of recycled paper, etc. just like the shop in Midvalley, just below the cinema floor?
and i'm going to call it ---> Kertas.
starry starry night, paint your palette blue and grey...
i've decided not to take part in the maxis, drawing around the Squiggle contest. i can't draw my Nasi Lemak properly!!! dumbdumb tool with NO undo function so one mistake, and you gotta start drawing all over again. i managed to draw a few others but finally stopped at Nasi Lemak.
my wisdom tooth on the left, which has been growing out since Ice Age is still not fully out yet and it's hurting so bad when i eat! 26 yr old and wisdom tooth is still sprouting out. mr tay said something about "taking so long to get wise." whateverrrrrrrrrr.
mr tay got cute over the phone the other day. he rang, i picked up. he went, "How is baby!" and i went, "Baby is good!" ok, i'm easily amused.
my plant on my office desk is so healthy and cantik. so i must show you.
took the pic using my mobile and while exporting the pic out, i stumbled upon this pic in the picture folder (while i was sleeping), taken by, none other than the mischevious sneaky boyfriend.
there are more where this came from. all nostril shots.
Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus Right down Santa Claus lane Vixen, Blitzen, all his reindeer Pulling on the reins Bells are ringing, children singing All is merry and bright Hang your stockings and say a prayer 'cause Santa Claus comes tonight!
all the shopping malls are playing Christmassy songs! i like!
Sue, Corrine and i went to watch Enchanted last Friday after work. I LOVE IT - a definite hit with the girls. thank gawd i didn't drag mr tay with me, he might just smother me to death with the pillow while i sleep at night. seriously, out of 10 guys, i'd say prolly only 2 guys would survive the torture and agree with the gf that it was a good movie. i enjoyed it nonetheless. grace was right, the songs were pretty addictive! was humming to Giselle-Edward's song even as we left the cinema to hit on to Bar Savanh Too. I LOVE PIP, THE CHIPMUNK!
got to Mont Kiara and to find Bar Savanh Too was holding a private function. ahhh crap, plans to drink, flirt, (well, technically i can't, but those 2 girls can because they are single-mingles! i was just there to help with the QUALITY control ya, oh yes i was) dance, and have some fun all went down the drain. so off we went to Clear Bar for dinner and drinks.
warning: you know you have been Facebooking too much when you start relating all the drinks on the menu with Facebook. "Eh, Cospomolitan! in Facebook, it's pink in color!"
: saturday :
on Saturday night, Crabbie and i went to watch I Am Legend, starring Will Smith. you know, i've always loved Will Smith but i was a tad disappointed with this one and it's a 6/10 for me. at the end of the show, i asked Crabbie, if this happens in real life, where would be the best place to hide or seek refuge. he said, high up in the condominiums, just like mr tay's place. i said, hello... mr tay's place is on the FIFTH floor. them Darkseekers can climb very cekap-ly so FIFTH floor is sap-sap-sui for them. seriously.
: sunday :
got up early and head to DU to pick Sue up and off we went to Kepong to attend an Indian wedding. i am probably the worst map-reader in the entire female population, so we got lost for awhile. but it was alright, we got there slightly late, ate a quick one, congratulated the newly-weds and off we went Shopping at Bangsar! again.
to cut long story short: another successful shopping spree
ok now, very tired and the hair is all dried up. it's Back To Work tomorrow...
Are you looking for parking spaces and garages in London? Then, do check out Parking London for the best garage rent. This service is offered by a company in London and is useful for those who travels regularly to London or those who lives in the area. London Parking is an agent specialized in parking lots and garages and is said to offer the biggest choices in the UK. They have several options like the five days or seven days parking contract.

ParkLet handle all your parking arrangement for you. However, do read their FAQ before you settle the contract as they do offer different contracts. Do read up also the information about your parking permit and information about the insurance policy.
