Because according to Chinese beliefs (heard from mom), wearing red at the start of New Year and CNY, brings in wealth and good luck throughout the year.
But do I heed the advice?

So Day 3 of 2007. And it has been slow.

Anyways, I spent New Year's Eve and New Year's at Mr Tay's hometown, Batu Pahat.
Though his home area wasn't affected by the flood, we saw first hand on the flood situation at the other areas on the way to BP.
And seriously, people seem to be having a good time?????
I saw this bunch of ladies in their baju kurungs.
With one hand lifting the skirts up to avoid the water on their knee level, they were... get this...

Weird.

But really, Mr Tay's dad said that the flood victims being stationed at the community hall and school halls are having a good time.
They get free food, lots of company and RM200 from the government. 
They are so naive.
Wait till it's pack up and go back home time, it's back to reality!
Mr Tay's dad knows this because he is involved with helping the community work there.

Took a deep breathe.

Paused for awhile.
Waited to be blasted away for giving him crap at 10am.

"Ok, I exchange tv with you. I will bring the other tv and you use this, it's bigger."

ANYWAYS...
CINTA was gooooooddddd.
Much much better than Sepet.
Love all the great effort and thoughts that were put into shooting every scene.
Almost every scene was shot with such fantastic angles.
"Artsy fartsy habis sial," said Mr Tay.
I love all the little little details and colors.
Especially the color of the sky.
And Arianna, I noticed, seems to wear a lot of purple
I cried during the scene where little girl, Lisa pleaded to go with her papa.

Oh by the way, Mr Tay and I will no longer be working together.
He has moved on to a better opportunity.
He has now upgraded himself from working near One Utama to working near KLCC!
Hahahhahhaha!
Mr Tay is now working for the big M.
