This is a very easy mask to do which I use 2-3 times a week.
The active ingredient in an aspirin is BHA which works well as an exfoliant by penetrating deep into pores, sloughing off dead skin
cells to make room for new ones.
Here are what you need:
1. Aspirin - Try to get uncoated ones as these will soften/melt faster. I use Bayer from Watson.
2. Honey - Any honey will do.
3. Toner - I use Simple for its alcohol-free plus point.
4. Moisturizer - Any moisturizer will do. I like Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer.
Here are the steps.
Please excuse the wrong numbering. It should be Step 1 - Step 5 only.
1 - Put 3-4 aspirins in a plate. Depending on how big the surface of your face, adjust accordingly. I use 3 aspirins.
2 - Sprinkle a few drops of water. Too much water and it will be mushy and will be pretty much useless. The aspirins should disintegrate on its own. Remember to use uncoated ones.
3 - Squirt a little honey onto the mushy aspirins.
4 - Use a spoon to break the remaining aspirins. At this stage, the aspirins are very soft and mushy so use the spoon to stir and mix it up well.
The mixture should be grainy. It should look like this :)

Slather onto face like so.

Leave mask on for 10min. Do not leave it too long as it will dry up the skin. And we don't want that :)
Cleanse.
As you are washing it off, take advantage of the grainy texture of the aspirin and exfoliate your skin. This will get the dead skin cells off your face, and polish your skin to leave it glowing.
I love this mask! :)
