Friday
3 things
#1

I have been a good girl. I religiously take my breakfast every single morning from Mon - Fri. On weekends, it just seems a little illogical for me to wake up early. Taking breakfast is good. It is good when you're the one that always seem to have 10am or 11am meetings - breakfast helps stop the noise. Can you imagine how embarrassed I got when my tummy growled or rumbled during meetings, especially one-on-one meetings?! It is VERY apparent when it is just the both of you in the meeting. Each time my tummy growls, I feel the urge to dig up a deep hole and jump right in.

I have been taking O'Brien's sandwich set which comes at RM4.50. Choice of:

Chicken Mayo (my fav)
Egg Mayo with Bacon bits
Tuna Mayo

Sandwich comes with a choice of Coffee or Juice (pink guava, green guava, apple, mango)

And I love these sandwiches because, it isn't your usual pre-packed crappy sandwiches which the teensy bit of chicken drowned in mayo type. These fabulous sandwiches from O'Brien's comes in lots of fresh lettuces, tomatoes, corns and lots of chicken shreds. I talked about chicken because that is what I usually take. Today, I had the tuna mayo. I like my sandwiches in wholesome wholemeal bread. Delicious.

On certain days when I feel that I'm skinnier (which rarely happens), I will head to McD's for their RM4 breakfast set. I have the McD's breakfast card, hence the RM4. Sausage McMuffin, Egg McMuffin, even my abso-fav Fish Fillet burger is on the set choices as well. So, I only have this when I feel thin (which again, I stress - rarely happens) Set comes with free coffee.

Remember when I was supposed to take my jab on Tuesday? Well, that did not happen. Not because I chickened out, I am never afraid of jabs. In fact, I am so sick in the head that I enjoy watching them insert the needle into my flesh. I had that sick thrill once when I caught dengue back in highschool days. I remember the nurse was having a tough time locating my vein (apparently, you need to inject the vein) and she was jabbing here and there, all over my arm. I got even sicker by helping her locate my veins. "Here!" "There, this one!" Yes, I am a sick in the head girl.

So anyways, jab did not happen because of all days, where I usually never wear long- sleeved tops to work, I wore it on that fateful Tuesday. And then I was thinking, "Shit, how are they gonna inject me with this long tight-sleeved top? Checked my email and it clearly stated that "Please wear loose short-sleeved tops". Screw it, I then signed up for Friday instead. And here I am, waiting for M and J to sama-sama go get jabbed. These ladies have no fear too.

And today I wore a short-sleeved yellow top. Yellow tops make me happy. Just like bubblegum yellow panties.

I AM IN DIRE NEED OF A HOLIDAY, CAN?!

Checked my leave requests and the last leave I took (not for holiday even) was March 2008. Since then, I have not been taking leaves. Not even leaves that were meant to take for fun, lepak at home, go shopping type.

I am tempted to screw work and take Friday off for next week. It will be a long weekend, Fri - Mon - bliss.

I will go into the leave request system and request now. Yes, that seems like a really logical thing to do. Before I go insane again.

Oh, Happy Friday everyone :)

It's so nice to see everyone (well, almost everyone) in their casual attires on Friday. And in many different colors as well. I just spotted Alicia in a baby blue top. So cute. Such a happyfying feeling within :)
