JoMeL!

I couldn't reply to all 3 of your comments below due to some technical error, so here goes la!

1st comment:
Yes, damn him! Tongue

2nd comment:
Yes, I know you and him were looking for a place and really liked one of the units, I'd say "Go for it Jomel!"

Gosh, I've been toying with the idea of engaging an ID too but I'm on a budget to get everything I need for the place so, ID idea has to be scraped off Sad You got ID friends who wanna do some charity work? Hahahha!

Induction hobs are cool right! No more icky sticky oily residue just like how they stick on the conventional stoves. Mr Tay said they don't come cheap though.

Yay, hi 5! White kitchen is the way to go la! Not hard to clean Jomel, I know coz Mr Tay's kitchen cabinet is white too and he has been staying there for 3 years. Though occasionally having someone (i.e. Me the Maid) to wipe and clean helps maintain its whiteness la Tongue

Yes, you have the big sista and cute little FeiMui so, you'd be utilizing the kitchen more without a maid. Eh, why not hire a maid for a twice a month home cleaning? I'm planning to do that. It's only about RM60 - 80 for a twice-a-week per month cleaning. It is really good enough, coz the place I'm staying at currently, she comes every Tues, sweep + mop, scrub the toilet, kitchen cabinet, take out the trash, dust the shelves, etc. Would certainly lighten your load having two kids around Wink

IKEA! Yes! Eh don't go first. Mr Tay said to wait for the August big sale. Apparently, Ikea's biggest sale happens every Aug of the year. Eh if you bump into me, can you recognize me? Coz I surely can recognize you and little feimui! Wink

3rd comment:
Eeeeeeee.... same name as Mr Tay! No wonder you refer to him as "D". At first I thought D = Darling Tongue Did you know Mr Tay used to be in IBM? Perhaps Your D knows My D and vice versa! Hehe.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This card, is for frequent shoppers in One Utama.
If you're there like a few times in a week, this card is for you! Ms FashionAsia, I know you go there all the time, have you gotten this card? Tongue
This card not only acts like your Bonuslink card - collecting points as you purchase and obtain discounts at certain outlets, IT ALSO ACTS LIKE A TOUCH 'N' GO CARD! Minus the 10% charge that Touch 'N' Go charges and the points collected can be used to redeem items at favorite participating OneCard outlets.

I love this feature so so much. All you have to do is after obtaining this card, go to the service counter situated at the New Wing, and have your card reloaded.
And then, you're good to go, tagging in and out of One Utama without having to pay at the yellow machines anymore.
And oh, if you're like me who loves to park at the Preferred Parking area during weekends and peak hours, ONLY OneCard users get to park in there now.
Ain't that great?! There are sooooooo many empty spaces available now as not many people have taken the trouble to apply for their OneCards.
So, get your OneCard today, it's only at a minimal fee of RM10.

Tan Chu Siang, you owe me lunch now.

Aiyoyo... you scare me by writing an entry dedicated to replying to my comments. Hahaha..

here's my reply to your replies:
1st comment: has the battery exploded yet?

2nd comment: I intend to engage a part time cleaner too. But of course. I cannot turn into a 'yellow-face-woman', get what I mean? Hehe..
About Ikea, have to wait until August ah?? Dunno if can wait for so long. Maybe can lah, if we buy the things in stages. As long as the renovation is completed, we will start buying. In the meantime, I would go to Ikea for ideas... building castles in the air for a while.

3rd comment: It was my D who identified your D from your photo up there. My D is still working where your D used to work in. And isn't that where you are right now too? ;)

Eeeee... I so kan-cheong! Can't stay away from advertisements on furnitures, kitchen appliances, toilet stuff, curtains, bookshelves, etc. Arggghhh!

(And I haven't gotten my key yet.)

I was just looking at SET (your D would know!) and there are 10 Ds here in IBM. Eliminated some who are in Cyberjaya and Uptown, got about 4-6 here in Plaza IBM la :P Yes, me is still here. Come look for me for lunch :P

I know already! Wahahha!

Only 3 DTs left on SET. Eliminated the other 2 because one is based in Uptown, the other is in Menara Affin. AND ONE MORE ON 19TH FLOOR, PLAZA IBM.

His surname terbalik = panas.

LOL!

Hi, stumbled upon your blog and saw that you'll be in Phuket around the same time as me! What a coincidence!

Anyway, just my 2 cents on induction hobs..they work well for gwailo style cooking; ie stewing or boiling but are quite hard to use for Chinese stir-fries or pan-frying cos the heat is harder to control.

But what fun it is furnishing a new home! :) Oh and one last thing...what cleaning service do you engage? It sounds pretty reasonable.

Hi Pinkelle! Thanks for stopping by. I loved the top banner on your blogsite! ;) Yes, I'll be in Phuket on May24 - 28, you?

Thanks for the hobs tips! I will certainly reconsider this option, though it looks so cool :(

FA and Pinkelle: As for the cleaning services, I will let you both know, when I contact the maids' boss later. Will contact you both via your blogs. Cheers! :)

Jomel: The Communications & Marketing & HR floor. Your D will know la. Joy Joy is asking whether it is the same Jomel. You answer ok!

Joy Joy: You wait for answer from Jomel! :P

FA: Blogsphere is quite small right? Hehe. When you are collecting your OneCard, remember to load in money credits. Easier, don't have to go there again to do it in the future. Cheers!
